Summary: My family stayed one night after a pirate game. The exterior of the home made us Leary but once we opened the door it was beautiful! Nice neighborhood but this house needed exterior maintenance. Very spacious and lots of room! Very pretty, clean and comfortable for our stay! Owner made it very easy to access and enjoy!

Summary: Good location, close to everything. Large house. Great air conditioners. Outside of house needs upkeep. Inside comfortable and adequate for our group of 11. Could use more basic kitchen supplies - dish towels, eating utensils. Host is great with responding to messages.

Summary: The house was a great deal for the money for our family group of 7 adults. There was plenty of space for us to spend time together, have meals, relax etc. and with 6 bedrooms we still had our own space when needed. The owners were very responsive when I contacted them, but some of my questions (such as the wifi password and what I was supposed to do at check out concerning trash, towels, etc) could have been addressed if the owners had provided an information sheet at the house. Concerns are as follows: some of the beds were in poor condition and were visibly sagging. There were ample towels but some were stained and it was hard to tell if they were clean. The furniture was dusty and the heating/AC air vents were full of lint and dust. The outside of the house did not appear to be kept up. The mailbox on the front porch was overflowing with mail. I had asked about what to do with my recycling and the owner told me that there was a recycling bin under the back porch, but there was not. Also there was 1 trash can under the back porch, but no lid. I was concerned that some animals might get into the garbage. I think the property has great potential but needs a little TLC. These minor issues did not seem to bother the family and we really had a wonderful time. The house is is a super location as it is close to downtown and other vibrant parts of the city like Squirrel Hill, Shadyside, Oakland, and several beautiful parks (Frick and Schenley). Overall a good place that could be fantastic with a little extra attention to detail.

Summary: We came to Pittsburgh for a weekend youth wrestling tournament. I chose this place because of it's proximity to the Petersen Event Center, the price, and the fact that it had 6 bedrooms. Overall served it's purpose. Was surprised to find that none of the beds on the 3rd floor had bed frames, and that there were no televisions in any of the bedrooms (that's on me for not fully reading the description when booking). The house was a quick card ride to everything and also had a few places to get something to eat in walking distance. Overall, I was satisfied with this location, but if you have teenaged or younger children with you, I would recommend a different place because of the one television in the house.
