Positive: Huntingdon is my choice to stay when visiting family on the island. Walkable to anything you want to do downtown and in James Bay. Love the Afternoon coffee bar and the ability to sit inside or outside for some downtime and the staff truly treat you like the extended family. Looking forward to my next stay!

Positive: We loved the water view from our room, that was a fun surprise! Also free breakfast at the Pendray which was so fun. Cold AC and comfy beds! The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided were all unscented which was a wonderful addition as I’m sensitive to perfumes.

Positive: 4th stay at Huntingdon over about 4 years. We chose (past and present) here for 3 main characteristics: 1. Price point 2. Historic charm 3. Excellent complimentary breakfast.
Negative: The 3 characteristics have altered: 1. Price has gone up. 2. Renovations don‘t reflect character 3. Although I enjoyed seeing the interior of Pendray House, the breakfast quality wasn’t up to past performance.
Summary: Unfortunately, we have decided that on our next trip (2 a year to Victoria) we will stay elsewhere.
