Positive: Jun is an amazing host with lot valuable insights! He helped me organize a 2 day hiking ttip ro Rinjani and additionally provided me with all the suff i needed. He always tried to make it as comfortable for me as possible. The food was amazing! I ate the whole time at theie restaurant. It's also very close to the waterfalls.

Positive: Jul and his partner were incredibly helpful. They sorted all my (3!) transfers and my Mount Rinjani trek for me. They were super accommodating when I changed my plans last minute and the room is incredible value. Thank you both!

Negative: Had a bit of an ant problem in the bathroom but that comes with being in the jungle!

Positive: Good location barring the call to prayer across the road but you'll find that everywhere. This is a fairly barebones stay but so too is most of the accommodation in the area.

Negative: Bedroom and Bathroom badly need some modernization. Particularly the bathroom. Water wasn't very hot and the pump was weak. Door into the bathroom and the mat outside the door need to be replaced.

Positive: We had a great time at this homestay. We wanted to climb Mount Rinjani, and we chose Ila’s Homestay because of the good reviews. It could not have been better. The family is very kind, and the restaurant has good food for a good price. The rooms are very simple, but for the price they are totally fine. The tour was organized very quickly, and we had a great guide named Anton. He and the porters did an amazing job. We can really recommend booking a tour through them. The food on the tour was excellent, and even with some rain we still had fun and felt very comfortable. They also prepared vegetarian food for us. The highlight of our Lombok trip.
