Stop by the northern end of the beach to enjoy a family picnic or rest beneath the shady trees of the Bateau Bay Beach picnic area.
Soak up stunning views of The Entrance, Tuggerah Lake and beyond from Crackneck Point Lookout. Watch talented surfers ride the waves of Shelly Beach, or look for whales passing by during their annual migration between June and November. From here you can make your way along the beautiful Coast Walking Track, amongst coastal wildflowers, orchids and flannel flowers.
