Positive: The room was OK for one night. Good wifi and a hot shower. TV had some English-speaking channels.

Negative: I wish they'd send you information as to where to pick up the darned key! I fortunately arrived with a Tunisian taxi driver who was able to communicate with the staff and determine that you get the key from a dentist on the first floor. Had I arrived on my own, I'd probably still be looking for the place. I'm a light sleeper so found it impossible to sleep as every time someone in the building used water, a pump or something sprang to life and whirred loudly. It drove me crazy all night long.

Positive: Clean studio apartment on the 6th floor owned by a dentist on the 1st floor. Breakfast in a local cafe, the restaurant suggested for dinner was closed so bought some eggs and bread at a supermarket.

Negative: It worked for one night, Gabès doesn't have. much of interest, it is a regional Hospital and medical centre.

Positive: Very clean, heating for the winter months, and the best hot shower I’ve had in Tunisia thus far. The station louage is a 15-20 minute walk and the train station is minutes away. Communication via WhatsApp is prompt.

Positive: Our 2nd stay here. The perfect apartment to enjoy the city of Gabes: the coastal gateway to the Sahara. Clean, great location and comfortable. Nice free breakfast at Cafe Vogue. Special thanks to Imen, who checked us in and kindly took us to the terminal on check out to get a louage from Gabes to Sousse. She was v easy to communicate with via WhatsApp too.
