Sleeps 24 guests. Friendsgiving?! I have the weekend of the 7th of November 2025 open which is a rare opportunity. All my weekends are booked through to January. I also have the Saturday after Thanksgiving available, the 29th 2025. This home is set back in the middle of 7 acres. Walking trails on abutting 16 acre conservation land, swimming, sauna, hot tub, pond for fishing and a huge yard for outdoor games. When booking please keep in mind this is a 400 year old home and has antique character. It is not a new 5 star hotel. It is old and not perfect, it has old farmhouse New England charm, the paint isn’t perfect, the windows are not perfect but it has modern amenities and newer furniture. I did recently shut the water to the soaking tub off in the master as too many guests were overflowing the tub and I have repaired/replaced the ceiling below 3 times. This is a 7,000 Square foot luxury home with an indoor heated pool, hot tub and sauna. There are 10 acres of a perfectly manicured lawn and pond. So much land for snowshoeing, cross country skiing, tag football, ultimate Frisbee, with additional conservation land hiking trails. There are multiple bedrooms with multiple beds to accommodate large groups. Features also include home theater with large screen TV, a ping pong table, patio for cookouts, a pond for fishing, the large yard accommodates a place for kids to run and play, yard games, a conservation parcel abuts with hiking trails, but winter will offer snow shoeing & x-country skiing.
PLEASE DO NOT INQUIRE ABOUT WEDDINGS!!! I cannot host any weddings on my property. No exceptions. This home is only suitable for low key family style vacations. NO WILD PARTIES!!!. To clarify what a non allowed event is, it would be a large gathering for more than the allowed 24 guests which would include a band, DJ, lots of cars, noise etc. That is not allowed. It is NOT considered an event if you have a corporate retreat, a yoga retreat, a low key Bachelor or Bachelorette weekend with 24 or less people, a family birthday party, wedding anniversary, etc. Anything being celebrated at the home within the allowed 24 guests is NOT considered an event and IS allowed. I can only fit 10 cars max on the property.
**Due to having too many issues/damage/broken house rules, etc. I have very strict rules about specific age groups, this is NOT a party house. Before booking, please outline the ages of your group and please offer as many details about your stay. I also highly recommend taking out the insurance for a more flexible cancelation option. In the event of Covid or anything else, it allows you to be able to cancel anytime and everyone is covered.

Summary: Celebrating college graduation at UNH. Easy distance to commencement and packing but close to the ocean to enjoy down time and relaxing together. Kitchen easily feeds 10 people with 3 different seating options for meals and plenty of grazing room. Indoor pool is lovely and warm, sauna was hot and easy to use. 4 staircases and 6 bedrooms many with pullout couches in addition to the comfy beds. We had a great reunion. Would love to return.

Summary: We wanted a place where friends and family could stay before our vow renewal. The house was wonderful and the host was amazing! We didn't get to do much exploring outside due to rain, but we had plenty to do with the indoor pool. Looking forward to staying again!

Summary: I gave this weekend to my family as a Christmas gift. Each year we go away together as my gift to them. This home was a perfect spot for our group. Adults could enjoy games in the spacious kitchen while children enjoyed the theater or karaoke in the other end of the spacious house. The indoor pool was fabulous and many memories were made over the weekend. Highly recommend for your family adventures.

Summary: This is a charming 400-year-old farmhouse that has been well-loved and is perfect for hosting large get togethers. While it has been updated over the years, most of the original layout remains intact. There are lots of rules, but none are unreasonable, and there is a lot to know simply because it is a very large, historic home. This house feels warm and welcoming. It has tons of windows offering lots of light and lovely views from every room. There are six bedrooms upstairs, and the room off the pool that contains the sauna has a connecting bath and can be used as a bedroom (trundle). There are pull out sofas in some of bedrooms, and the study and family room downstairs. The layout is unique and fun to explore. Access to downstairs from a couple of bedrooms while others are still sleeping required a little figuring out but we found our way -- part of the charm of an older house! The beds by all accounts were very comfortable. The master has a newly renovated bath that can be shared, with three others upstairs positioned nicely so that none are overloaded. Although temps were in the teens while we were there, the house was warm and cozy with thermostats set at only 65-67. The kitchen was our favorite hang out spot and plenty big enough for our group of 17, but there are so many other spaces to spread out too. And of course, there's the pool! The host, Chelsi, was so kind and responsive. We hope to come back again, but in warmer weather next time! Thanks so much Chelsi!

Summary: We had our annual friends weekend away & Chelsi’s house was the perfect setting for it all! So spacious, there was a room for everyone to do just what they wanted! Pool, hot tub & sauna was a fun added bonus! The theater room was great for the guys who wanted to hang there! Kitchen was really well stocked & had so much room for us all to gather. Beds were comfy & all the linens were cozy too! We had a great time & hope to come back! Thanks Chelsi!

Summary: My sister and I hosted a girls’ weekend with 15 friends. Chelsi’s house was perfect to accommodate everyone! The house was beautiful, there were plenty of beds and bathrooms for all of us, and we had the best time! Chelsi was also super great/quick with communication when I had a question! We had an amazing weekend in NH!

Summary: We had a fantastic “girls weekend.” This beautiful home has such incredible character and it is clear by the host’s clear expectations, direction and great communication that the property is well loved and seriously maintained. We explored the area a bit for activities, but we could have just as easily stayed in the home all weekend and enjoyed the pool, sauna, hot tub, and theater. I would highly recommend this property for a group getaway for those who would appreciate a home and setting with this historic charm. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Summary: Stayed here with multiple families for a wedding at Wentworth by the Sea - let me just say, the house was perfect for us. We had 6 or 7 couples and 5 young kids, and 2 older. It was a great house for everyone to spread out and have there own spaces but also be able to come together. The pool, yard, and kitchen were enjoyed immensely and I think everyone (kids and adults) will be talking about the games of hide and seek we played here for years to come. An old house like this has lots of great hiding places. However, it is that - an old house. And you just need to know and be okay with what comes with that, some stuff doesn't always work quite right and isn't always what I would call "luxurious". The host was always very responsive when anything came up; however, my only other note is that the house comes with a LOT of instructions. This became intimidating and ultimately made it harder to garner was or wasn't really important. Overall, a great house to enjoy with multiple families but just be aware that it is an old house and has had some Vrbo wear-and-tear miles put on it.
