PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
This adults-only property is perched on 20 acres with spectacular views all the way to Mount Dandenong and beyond. This stunning ultra modern self contained architect-designed house is located among some of Yarra Valley's finest wineries with Kinglake National Park as a backdrop.
This quality entertaining house boasts a large undercover outdoor deck area with custom built solar heated pool, outdoor fireplace and large sun deck overlooking the Yarra Valley and beyond with outdoor furniture and pool lounge chairs. Take a walk on our private trail to the top of the hill overlooking the Kinglake National Park.
It boasts 3 large king size bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with 5 star hotel quality fittings and fixtures including sunken bath in the main ensuite under a cathedral ceiling.
The open-plan dining and lounge has huge 10 metre wide glass bi-fold doors that open onto the deck area. The kitchen is well appointed with European appliances with lots of tools you need to have a fabulous cook-up after an exciting day of wine tasting, golf or a spa treatment. It has reverse cycle heating and cooling and/or ceiling fans in the bedrooms and hydronic heating as well as two indoor fireplaces.
Enjoy a game of pool on the pool table under another cathedral ceiling in the north wing complete with wet bar and library.

Summary: Excellent location – a short drive to Yarra Glen and a selection of wineries. The property was comfortable and very well-appointed, perfect for three couples celebrating a significant birthday. Inclement weather prevented us from using the pool and alfresco area, but the views from the central living area were stunning, and we enjoyed sitting by the fire watching Mother Nature put on a show. Communication from the host was prompt and detailed. Highly recommend.

Summary: We had an amazing stay for a much needed girl weekend! About 15mins to shops and wineries, but everything we really needed we had at the accommodation! Gorgeous views, comfy beds and a perfect kitchen. We even had the weather to enjoy a pool day! Denise was so helpful and easy to communicate with. With definitely recommend!

Summary: It was a beautiful setting on the hill and surrounded by forest with a great outlook. Very peaceful. The heating worked well and the place is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommended.

Summary: The home worked perfectly with the seperate zoning. The kitchen had every convenience therefore cooking as a group was a joy. Most of all the views which we woke to each morning were the highlight. Denise was an absolutely delight to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble.

Summary: Impressive secluded property with lots of room, a very well equipped kitchen, including all the basic pantry items, and a bottle of bubbles on arrival. The primary bedroom suite is very modern and spacious (perhaps not for those who value their personal privacy as it’s all completely open plan). I loved all the storage in the walk-in robe. The two other bedrooms had pull-out beds but were still very comfortable. The weather wasn’t great during our stay but there was plenty of air con and access to the pool (we didn’t end up using the pool as we were out every day and evenings) should the temperatures rise. There was a lot of the owners personal artworks on display, inside and out, which served as a constant reminder we were in someone’s personal space, rather than your generic holiday let. The host, Denise, was very kind, offering helpful advice on local eateries and tips for getting the best use from the property. The local countryside is stunning and just bursting with wildlife, rabbits, kangaroos, kookaburras, magpies, and we even saw the odd fox. The location of the property made it a handy base for visiting the many wineries in the Yarra, if Chardonnay and/or Pinot Noir are your drop of choice, you’re in luck.
