We have a sandy beach! You can relax with your toes in the sand, while the kids play on the beach. To cool off you can walk out into the water or venture out into the deeper area and go for a swim!
Escape to this beautiful ranch home with a private sand bottom lake right in your backyard! South Lake is a 100-acre private all sports lake, conveniently nestled in the Irish Hills. You can use the 2 kayaks, or the 2 pedal boats to explore the lake, enjoy a nice cozy fire at the firepit, or just relax and enjoy the beautiful lake view. The home has central air conditioning to keep you comfortable while indoors and every bedroom
including the great room has a ceiling fan. The huge great room with a dining area has plenty of room for everyone. Perfect to sit and relax or take in a movie on the Sony Google TV, all while enjoying a breathtaking view of the lake. The kitchen is well stocked to prepare meals and has a large island that will seat 4 people. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, all on one floor. The walk out basement gives you even more space to gather. There's a Foosball Table, Air Hockey Table, Basketball Game, Pac-Man video game, Giant Wooden Connect Four game and a game table for hours of endless fun. The Florida Room just off the great room is another space you're sure to love and enjoy with family and friends. Enjoy dinner on the deck, there is a patio table & chairs and a newer built in gas grille. We also have a pontoon boat on site that seats up to 10 people available to rent.
Just minutes away from Michigan International Speedway, other area attractions only minutes away include The Mighty Oak Par 3 Golf Course and Range, Cherry Creek Cellars, Hidden Lake Gardens, Bundy Hill Off Road Park, several area lake front restaurants and much, much more. Summary: We have been attending a Michigan football game for the last 6 years. I have family coming in from Chicago, Texas California and Ohio. We all can say this was the best experience we have had. Angie was a great host we had great communication and she made our stay worry free. The house was top notch from the cleanliness, to the location, and the incredible view over the lake. I would recommend to anyone especially if you have children. well done.

Summary: This house, I mean home is so clean, beautiful, well stocked with appliances, pots, bowls, furniture, couches and games for a carnival as well as enough movies for a year. I wouldn't look anywhere else for a lake front home. Cannot wait to stay here again.

Summary: What a beautiful home. Very roomy for our family group of 9. Great communication with hosts. We loved the personal touches. Had a blast playing foosball and connect four. Loved the game room area. Never left the property. Made many memories with the family. Thank you !!

Summary: Perfect stay. House was well stocked with anything you might need. Game room was perfect for kids, we all used the pontoon, as well as paddle boats and kayaks. Highly recommend.

Summary: The house was great. The basement kept the kids entertained every night with a PacMan video game, air hockey table, all kinds of DVDs, lots of games and books. Kids also enjoyed the paddle boats and swim raft.

Summary: My family was very impressed with this property. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax, very comfy beds, beautiful surroundings. Whether we were enjoying activities in the lake or just sitting enjoying the view, this place has it all. The open floor plan of the kitchen, dining and living area let us interact with each other during meal preparation, snack time or just lounging. We loved it! You really should check this property out! You won't be disappointed!

Summary: We just returned from spending a wonderful week at Alpha on then Lake. Angela and Eric are terrific hosts and always make sure that everything for your stay is perfect. The cottage is beautiful and supplied with everything that you will need for a perfect vacation. The cottage is spacious and modern with a fully supplied kitchen, coffee makers, air fryer, toaster, and all needed equipment. The beds are very comfortable and ensure a restful night’s sleep. Everyone is sure to have a fun time with all the items available for outdoor fun. There are kayaks, a paddle boat, a pontoon boat, and corn hole to keep everyone busy. There is also a very nice deck and several chairs on the lawn to just sit and relax. This is our second year at this cottage and we are looking forward to returning next year. We highly recommend Angela’s and Eric’s Alpha on the Lake cottage!

Summary: Our family loved the property! We had 4 adults and 5 children. The kids loved the beach & water area. It kept them so busy being able to play in the sand and in the roped off area for swimming. We loved paddle boating & kayaking. I would definitely recommend renting the pontoon. We took pontoon rides at least twice a day & also anchored to swim out in the middle of the lake. We cant wait to visit the property again next year. We are already booked!
