This gem of a vacation spot is a diamond in the crown of Minnesota’s beautiful North Woods. Start with a charming, 3+ bedroom log cabin, that was built in the 1960s. The solidly built log home is decorated in a style that will make you feel at home, immediately. THIS IS AN ISLAND ADVENTURE SO YOU WILL EITHER NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN BOAT OR RENT ONE.
This private island is for families with extended family members only so you can make lasting memories and bond with your family members!
We have a very nice 20' pontoon available at a discounted rate. Returning, clients, feel free to contact host for discounted rates on your stay. We have a 30 day minimum-thanks.
Then, picture this home, nestled in a pine & balsam fir studded landscape, that will take your breath away. Roam this 5 acre island, and discover nature’s gifts in the nooks and cranny‘s that are hidden everywhere. See the 400 Sq ft Treehouse/screenhouse with ping pong table and gathering spot in screened area overlooking the lake.
The nice thing about an island, is you don’t have to worry about your children, or pets, because you have the entire island to your self.
Note: The cabin has all modern appliances, including a full kitchen & two bathrooms. You will notice a 1960s flavor with the bright red-orange stove and other decorations which brought me back my childhood memories and were fun to see again!
Enjoy the cozy great room at night, or on a rainy afternoon, & it will bring you back to the days of your youth at your favorite aunt or grandma’s house (if you were lucky enough to have one). It may bring you back to the happiest times of your youth, as well as create new warm memories for the youngsters.
The expansive porch faces South, so you can see the beautiful lake in the background and enjoy a campfire & roasting marshmallows at night. Antler Lake has only 10 other cabins around it’s 350 acre’s, and boasts bass, pan fish, perch, and northern pike fishing. You will need to borrow a boat or bring your own to access the island which is less than 1/4 mile from landing. We have a pontoon available if you would like to rent at a discounted rate to allow our guests to access this special place.

Summary: We had such a blast at this property. Everyone unplugged and the kids enjoyed swimming and the game area all weekend long. Plenty of room for our whole group, perfect lake to fish, swim and take a cruise around. The cabin is extremely charming!

Summary: This was our second stay on the island. We couldn’t wait to get back after last year! Beautiful, peaceful setting for nice, relaxing getaway. The view from the front porch with my morning coffee was the best. The cabin is great and has lots of room. The treehouse is a great place to play games and take in the views. The swim dock is a favorite for a nice swim. Chris, the owner, is a great communicator and always makes sure you have what you need. Fires at night either by the cabin or the lake. We are already talking about our trip back next year. Recommend to all who want to get away and unplug at a peaceful location.

Summary: The pictures almost don't do justice to the place. It's truly a treasure on an island. We were there for 4 days and our family had a blast. A few things to know as you visit the property: a) don't plan on having connectivity (wifi or cell), b) you need to rent a boat or bring your own and c) bring everything you need....there is a nearby store but selection is limited. That said, a great place to escape the hustle and bustle and spend quality time with the family.

Summary: The island property is amazing. Even better than we had hoped from the pictures. The owner takes pride in caring for the property and making sure his guests have a fantastic experience. We really appreciated the quiet surroundings and a chance to get away in this beautiful setting. This was the perfect place to get away with our grown sons (18-21) as we had plenty of entertainment with the lake activities and the unexpected gaming area in the treehouse. The boys made good use of the paddle boards and ping pong table.
