3 Bedroom Cabin in Bigfork

This classic northwoods log cabin is perfect for quiet honeymoons, family vacations, girls weekends, or hunting/fishing/snowmobiling getaways.
Nestled on 6 wooded acres overlooking beautiful Connors Lake, Minnesota Kind Lodge offers a rare peace that you won’t find on the busier lakes, while still providing world class fishing & wildlife spotting.
Connors lake is a private lake with no public access. You often have the entire lake to yourself -with the exception of resident loons and herons. We have a fishing boat, a paddle boat, a double kayak, and multiple paddle boards available, but the most popular spot on the lake is the shallows in front of the dock just 100 level feet from the cabin door. Many great meals have been caught dropping a line off of the dock.
The cabin has all of the amenities you need to sleep 10-13 comfortably, with a giant sleeping loft and pull out couch available, but the space is intimate enough to use as a private romantic escape for couples and honeymooners.
A wood fireplace keeps the great room cozy on winter nights, and the also offers central heating and central air conditioning to keep the everyone comfortable year round.
A fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs sits in a clearing just off of the water and a grill is on hand for cooking outside.
Inside there is everything you need to cook 4 star meals- a gas stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker etc. We provide stainless steel pots and pans and all the cooking tools and serving dishes you need. The thick pine tables were designed and built especially for the space.
Downstairs there is a bar, and ice maker for entertaining.
Host your holiday get together at Minnesota Kind Lodge and leave your stress at home.
Have you ever wanted to host a retreat? Walk a short level path through the woods to a second space that is also available to rent. This studio space is perfect for teaching classes (tables and chairs available upon request) writing retreats, church retreats, yoga, dance, art classes etc. The studio space has central air and heat, and beautiful views of the surrounding birch, pine, and tamarack woods.

Summary: This is the fourth year in a row that we have stayed at the this wonderful cabin. And not my first review! I can't say enough how serene and restorative this place is. The lake is private and literally in four years, we only have seen a few kayaks and one pontoon! We fished from the rowboat and caught bass and pumpkin seeds, star gazed at night as there is no light pollution, sat by the outdoor open fire pit, kayaked, played golf every day at the local 9-hole course where there is NEVER any wait, hiked around a few of the local places. The air is so crisp and clean. We all sleep so well there. Sandra is a super host and always goes out of her way to help us with anything instantly. There is always some improvement to the property. This year, an outdoor oversized chess set and a fantastic wooden swing for two. We had a small medical emergency and the local hospital took us in immediately, pharmacy on site, and it was easy and we felt safe. Rent this place! You will never regret it!

Summary: We just enjoyed a great week at this cabin. We had 4 adults and 8 kids, ages 6-15. The beach was great. The kids were very successful fishing from the dock. We all loved the kayak, paddle boat, and standup paddle boards. It was very considerate that there was a supply of life jackets available. We enjoyed a fire and s'mores at the fire pit most evenings. The cabin is gorgeous. The photos don't do it justice. There was plenty of space for everyone. All the kids slept up in the sleeping loft. While one couple took the bedroom and the other took the bed downstairs. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need, including S&P, basic spices, plenty of towels, and all the cookware you could need. There isn't a dishwasher. No problem, we packed paper plates to keep cleanup easy. I highly recommend this cabin and would love to come back.

Summary: We stay every summer and love it. The lake is perfect and so quiet. The cabin is a rustic cabin that gives you the feel you are looking for in a cabin. The kids absolutely love the loft every year and getting to pick their bed. The cabin comes with everything you need. The first day of arrival this year it was really hot out and we found the AC not working. We contacted the property owner and she explained how to fix ir. SHe also provided a partial one night refund due to the inconvenience. The AC started working the next day and we were comfortable. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The only semi complaint I have has nothing to do with the property. If you are looking for something close to do in town like shopping or eating there is zero options anywhere close. Aside from the local Pizza joint. The food is just ok. We will be returning every summer to this cabin. We enjoy it and look forward to it.

Summary: Hi,We stayed at your Kind-Cabin this past week. It ended up only being my husband and me...and our well-behaved border collie (Thanks for allowing dogs!). We had a relaxing time and loved the cabin. Thanks for all the nice touches. We used it very lightly, only using one bed...and not being into air conditioning. Like I said, the cabin was 10/10! But we are swimmers, and the dock was absolutely socked-in with weeds. (I can see how it might be perfect for little kids catching sunnies.) After I scrubbed the kayak (which was covered with dried-on mud), I used that to get out to the beautiful water, and then I decided to clear a path through the weeds. The neighbors probably saw a lot of me bobbing up and down as I pulled the weeds, and by day 3, I could swim out well! Later in the week, I saw the next-door neighbor using a tool that looked like a "Y" to clear his swimming area and thought about asking if I could borrow it, but decided to leave well-enough alone. Anyway, our experience was dampened a bit by the weeds. This is a Lovely cabin... but if you're looking for a swim vacation...this isn't the place.
