Positive: The place was clean, spacious, relaxing and on top of everything: the view was AMAZING! The host made our trip even more unforgettable. What an amazing guy! He showed us around Kudoyama and Koyasan.

Positive: The house is a beautiful Japanese home that is clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, near train station, restaurants and access to Koyasan mountain area including the Choishi Michi Trail. The host was fantastic and he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and able to experience the area to the fullest. Upon arrival he met us at the train station and gave us a wonderful tour of the area. The bikes at the house were perfect for exploring Kudoyama. It was truly a special experience, staying at the house, and seeing Kudoyama and Koyasan mountain area.

Negative: Everything was clean and well-prepared.

Summary: Wonderful experience staying in authentic Japanese house and exploring the beautiful area.

Positive: This was the most outstanding place we stayed at in Japan. The owner met us at the train station at the beginning of our 2 night stay and took care of us the entire time. He drove us to restaurants, supermarkets. The next day he picked us up and took us on a tour of all the shrines on the nearby mountain. He was informative, and catered to all our wishes with a great sense of humor and kind spirit. The whole experience was what we wanted from Japan,

Positive: A really beautiful property with stunning views of the surrounding rice fields and orchards. The blossom was in full bloom, is was so peaceful. I'd love to stay again. The parking is further down the hill as the driveway is hard to access for visitors (if you aren't used to the very steep roads and sharp corners). The owner met us in the carpark as it was raining and drove us to the door :)

Positive: Countryside, quiet and peaceful. Everything was very clean. The kitchen had everything, and I helped myself to hotpot. Bicycles are available, too. Absolutely loved the traditional Kotatsu table and futons. Bathtub was neck-deep. Self checkin similar to abnb style. Easy!

Negative: Stairs to the 2nd floor can be a little challenging for elderly. Carpark is just a very short walk away. However, the road can be tricky if using google maps.
