Positive: This is my third time visiting Caye Caulker and my fourth hotel on the island and I would put it as perfectly lovely for what the island can offer. The location is fantastic, and the suite we stayed in was spacious. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels which was a major plus and very appreciated! It made the usual sand that sneaks in disappear and enhanced the experience. There was also a security guard on sight each night which was appreciated since the hotel is on the Main Street close to the Split which has a late night crowd. Overall, I recommend the hotel and would return. It is also currently under renovations with new floors being added so I can imagine it will only get better.

Negative: Our room was on the first floor so our curtains were closed the majority of the time and made using the “balcony” moot. The bathroom was also extremely functional but could use an upgrade.

Positive: Lovely on reception Right in the heart of the island Pick up and drop back to ferry Front suites are bigger with larger beds and a kitchenette so much better

Negative: We were not told that 2 more floors were being added to the property and the whole place is under construction This meant there was dust everywhere and it was noisy from 9-5 Right on the road so many people/ golf buggies pass by

Positive: The location was great and our room was very clean and comfortable. Communication was good.

Negative: The hotel looked better in the online pictures than in person. The beach area for the hotel was not well-cared for. The receptionist tried to overcharge us for the ferry tickets (and asked us to pay in cash) that they had purchased for us in advance. We appreciated that a security guard was on duty each night, but some time between 4am-6am each night, he would have a coughing/hacking fit which woke us up (he was stationed in the breezeway; we were in Apartment 1). One night, I woke up to see him standing near to our bedroom window, hacking over the fence.
