Costa Nube is an off-grid eco vacation villa nestled in a mangrove forest reserve. It’s for nature lovers, adventurers or people looking for a unique experience. Enjoy yoga, meditation or star gazing above the tree top canopy. Our rooftop is ultra chill overlooking a 360 degree view of Caye Caulker, the reef, bird reserve and close to nature trails. Offering ample space to disconnect from it all in a Ideal environment to get re-energize with Mother Earth. Costa Nube is rest and relaxation.
The Villa Is an excellent place for Yoga retreats, family getaway, small weddings and corporate retreats. A short walk you can paddle board, snorkel, fish or sit on a dock. Relax on hammocks, BBQ'n, or play games at the swing bar. Costa Nube is your island getaway.
*Note that Caye Caulker entire Island is unique and is powered by generators. Costa Nube is located in the quieter side of the island away from the hustle and bustle and have all the amenities that on grid power home offers with Solar system/ batteries/generator.
The beautiful and vibrant Village is 10 mins away and 18 mins to the split by bike going thru a scenic beach trail. Taxis run all day for $5 Us per person one way from and to the property.
Is this your first time in Belize? I’m here to help you with any arrangements or questions you may have regarding transportation, tours, restaurants and Nightlife. Belize is located in a subtropical the climate could be hot, humid or rainy. there will be a variety of bugs, insects and natural creatures.
We do include free snorkeling equipment, bikes, fishing rods & the paddle boards with your reservation.
Happy to help The paddle boards can launch from shore line which is about a 5 minute walk from our place. They are inflatable so not that heavy. The main swimming areas are a 15min bike ride. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
The Villa is comprised of 4 individual inclusive suites. Each suite has kitchen with fridge/stove, private bathroom/shower, sitting area & table/chairs.
1st floor studio suite has a king size bed. 2nd floor studio suite has a king size bed. 2nd floor 1 bedroom has a queen size bed. 3rd floor 1 bedroom has a king size bed.
Costa Nube is located just south of the airstrip encapsulated in the nature reserve. All the homes run on sustainable solar energy and rainwater catchment. Our home can offer a/c for night-time use 8pm-8am in the suites on the 1st & 2nd floors. (3rooms) Each room has ceiling fans & stand fan. The 3rd floor suite has gentle cool breezes from all directions with large windows/doors.
We have brought the indoor areas outdoor with a large “lounge area” on the 3rd floor made for gathering. Hammocks to hangout in, comfortable sectional seating. This is at eye level with the mangrove forest. The 4th floor is the roof top area with bean bag chairs and loungers, hammocks, yoga mats. From this level you have a 360 degree view of the Caye Caulker and the sea. Great place to stargaze. On the ground level is there is an area for hammocks, bbq with a bar area called the “rusty crab” and out door dining on picnic tables. Being so close to the sea from either side all our outdoor areas have gentle breezes.

Summary: Costa Nube was the last of 4 places we stayed in Belize and the one we enjoyed the most. Aldo and Kolleen were the most pleasant and wonderfully helpful hosts, providing us with everything we needed for a 4-day relaxing stay before heading home. I had the best series of good night sleeps in a long time, which is priceless!

Summary: Aldo and Colleen were amazing hosts. They made sure we were picked up and taken the property safely. They also showed us around town to main spots they favorited. Very kind and warm souls. Everyone in town knows them and speaks highly which says a lot. The property is south of town and the airstrip so we did end up renting a golf cart for ease but you can definitely just use the bikes they provide as well. We appreciated being a bit away for a more calming and relaxing experience. We used a little dock near the place to swim daily and saw lots of wildlife. There’s not a lot of actual beach here as it’s mangroves mostly but the water is beautiful and easy to jump into off any dock. They can give you all the great recommendations needed and are on site to help out if you need anything. Being the property is off grid be mindful of the ac use and water. The ac is in the bedroom and you keep the screened doors and windows open for breezeways in the living areas. There are two very large covered common areas that function as outdoor living room's. The top deck has an awesome 360 view, you don’t find that just anywhere. Both levels are breezy and amazing for hammock naps! When we return to this beautiful island we will stay here again for sure!

Summary: Aldo was extremely accommodating for our stay. We were staying at a different VRBO before and we switched to Aldo halfway through our 6 day stay on Caye Caulker. Our check in wasn’t supposed to be ready until 3:00PM but when I asked if we could drop off our luggage early before check in he said yes, and to our surprise the room was even ready when we showed up! It is such a beautiful property with amazing communal spaces and charming landscaping and decor. He also provided free snorkel gear, paddle boards, fishing poles and bikes all complimentary to our stay. It is a bit further away from town than many other accommodations, bit the south side of the island is very quant, remote, and beautiful. Totally worth the extra adventure, and we would absolutely stay again!

Summary: I usually stay closer to the split when I visit Caye Caulker but I am SO GLAD I found this place. It is a 10-15 minute bike ride into town but it is 100% worth it. It is so quiet, private, and there is a beautiful roof-top hang out spot that is absolutely breathtaking! Aldo and his wife are also so kind and accommodating and very quick to respond. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and got us every thing we needed AND THEN SOME! The room itself was one of the cleanest places I stayed and one of the best beds I’ve stayed in on this island!! 10000/10, the best spot to stay on the island!

Summary: Amazing property that I didn’t ever want to leave. So much so that we came back from San Pedro to stay on Caye Caulker with them again! If you’re looking for an off the grid get away with the ability to stroll into town on a bike that is on the property (one of the main modes of transportation on the island), this is the place to stay! Aldo & Kollen were so accommodating. I cannot recommend this place enough!
