Costa Nube is an off-grid eco vacation villa nestled in a mangrove forest reserve. It’s for nature lovers, adventurers or people looking for a unique experience. Enjoy yoga, meditation or star gazing above the tree top canopy. Our rooftop is ultra chill overlooking a 360 degree view of Caye Caulker, the reef, bird reserve and close to nature trails. Offering ample space to disconnect from it all in a Ideal environment to get re-energize with Mother Earth. Costa Nube is rest and relaxation.
The Villa Is an excellent place for Yoga retreats, family getaway, small weddings and corporate retreats. A short walk you can paddle board, snorkel, fish or sit on a dock. Relax on hammocks, BBQ'n, or play games at the swing bar. Costa Nube is your island getaway.
*Note that Caye Caulker entire Island is unique and is powered by generators. Costa Nube is located in the quieter side of the island away from the hustle and bustle and have all the amenities that on grid power home offers with Solar system/ batteries/generator.
The beautiful and vibrant Village is 10 mins away and 18 mins to the split by bike going thru a scenic beach trail. Taxis run all day for $5 Us per person one way from and to the property.

Belize is located in a subtropical the climate could be hot, humid or rainy. there will be a variety of bugs, insects and natural creatures.
We do include free snorkeling equipment, bikes, fishing rods & the paddle boards with your reservation.
Happy to help The paddle boards can launch from shore line which is about a 5 minute walk from our place. They are inflatable so not that heavy. The main swimming areas are a 15min bike ride. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
The Villa is comprised of 4 individual inclusive suites. Each suite has kitchen with fridge/stove, private bathroom/shower, sitting area & table/chairs.
1st floor studio suite has a king size bed. 2nd floor studio suite has a king size bed. 2nd floor 1 bedroom has a queen size bed. 3rd floor 1 bedroom has a king size bed.
Costa Nube is located just south of the airstrip encapsulated in the nature reserve. All the homes run on sustainable solar energy and rainwater catchment. Our home can offer a/c for night-time use 8pm-8am in the suites on the 1st & 2nd floors. (3rooms) Each room has ceiling fans & stand fan. The 3rd floor suite has gentle cool breezes from all directions with large windows/doors.
We have brought the indoor areas outdoor with a large “lounge area” on the 3rd floor made for gathering. Hammocks to hangout in, comfortable sectional seating. This is at eye level with the mangrove forest. The 4th floor is the roof top area with bean bag chairs and loungers, hammocks, yoga mats. From this level you have a 360 degree view of the Caye Caulker and the sea. Great place to stargaze. On the ground level is there is an area for hammocks, bbq with a bar area called the “rusty crab” and out door dining on picnic tables. Being so close to the sea from either side all our outdoor areas have gentle breezes.

Summary: This was such a unique place to stay!! A gem in the mangroves. Rooms were very nice with everything you might need provided for a very welcoming stay. Property was very chill with lots of places to relax and visit. Aldo and Kolleen were amazing hosts, readily available to answer any questions about the island, places to eat, where to go etc. Also if we were needing anything they went out of their way to help us out. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!! Will 100% recommend this place to anyone. It is alittle ways from town so we had rented a golf cart and made it quick and easy to go everywhere.

Summary: Upon arrival Aldo picked us up at the airport. Once we settled in Collen & Aldo took us into the village and toured us around. We stopped for groceries and some local cuisine. Our Suite was a perfect size with all amentities. King size bed and a very comfy mattress with Smart TV, numerous movies and shows. Air conditioning is a bonus for nighttime comfort. Living off the grid at Costa Nube is like living on the grid. We were also there for Superbowl so Aldo set-up a big screen TV on rooftop. Who would of thought, sitting on the rooftop looking out at the mangroves while watching Superbowl...lol (:) Means of transportation is either bicycles, golf cart or taxi. As part of our stay at Costa Nube we got the use of bicycles daily at no cost. Its only a 10 minute bike ride into Caye Caulker. Gord and I went kayaking which is also provided at no additional cost. Aldo dropped us at the dock and off we went for a private kayaking adventure which took us to the Pelican restaurant for a really great lunch. Actually, food anywhere was Yummy. Nightlife, local cusine, beaches & excursions. Gord and I went deep sea fishing which was a huge success. We caught so much fish that Aldo & Colleen offered to host a barbecue for blackened baracuda. It became a weekly event of Pot Luck. Friday night Jam at the Sports Bar was one of our favorite places. we enjoyed meeting locals, expats and travellers. There is always something going on somewhere so you can be as busy as you want or not. Sandy
