Positive: In 4 months travelling south east asia this place is definitely the nicest we’ve stayed in! The exterior was beautiful and the front porch was such a nice place to sit. The room was amazing, with a really comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and very clean facilities all round. We were welcomed with kindness as the hosts helped us carry our bags to the room. Although only here for one night we had the best stay, because of Hari. He was so welcoming and friendly, offering tea or coffee for whenever we may want it, and was more of a friend than a host, making such an effort to have conversations with us. We got a lovely dinner recommendation from him and I know if we had stayed longer he would have offered many more recommendations for Tetebatu. The breakfast was delicious and I genuinely can’t fault this stay. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Tetebatu, stay here!

Positive: This place is truly beautiful. The apartment is brand new, very clean and the beds are genuinely comfortable. Everything felt fresh and well thought out. It is a calm and safe place and we felt at home straight away. Breakfast was a lovely surprise every morning. Lots of fresh fruit, good coffee, tea, and more. Beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. Hari is what made this stay truly special. He is one of the warmest and most welcoming people we have ever met while travelling. His English is great so communication was easy. He shared a lot about the local culture, let us try some traditional food together and gave us wonderful tips on places to explore nearby. We found beautiful waterfalls and stunning viewpoints that we would never have discovered on our own. He also helped us sort out laundry which was a lifesaver. Hari genuinely cares about his guests. You can feel it. He is not just a host, he is the kind of person who makes a trip memorable. We would come back without a second thought. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thank you Hari for making our time in Tetebatu truly unforgettable.
