Comfortable homey atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy lake life. Sit on the deck or swing to enjoy lake views. Or bring a boat, whether fishing, skiing, tubing or just cruising and explore the Briggs Lake chain (connected lakes: Julia, Briggs & Rush Lake). Located on the East side of Lake Julia, you will have front row seating to amazing sunsets. You will enjoy flat, level access to your own private dock. Take out the kayaks if you are looking for a little adventure or maybe just visit with friends and family on the deck overlooking the lake while cooking on the Blackstone! Wake up to the sound of Loon's wishing you a good morning and the beautiful sunsets a good night.
Local area has a general store with gas, groceries, bait or anything maybe left behind. There are numerous restaurants within minutes of your stay if you don't feel like cooking. Plus you are minutes away from 3 wonderful golf courses. Julia’s Cottage is close enough to St Cloud or Monticello for shopping and dining, but far enough away to feel like you are on a vacation.
We will be open for winter activities!! Whether ice fishing, snowmobiling(trails are about 1 1/2 miles away and easily accessible) or just wanting to get away!!

Summary: We had another great stay. This was our third stay at this location. We really enjoy the quiet and serenity of this location after a day of visiting family. A great escape site with wonderful views from the cabin and the deck.

Summary: The property was well kept and has all the amenities that we could need! It was extremely nice to use the full kitchen to make food and lounge in the living room as well for our spa day!

Summary: Stay here couldn’t have been much more enjoyable. Quiet, great views, and the owners are fantastic. Since we have family that live just a few miles away already looking forward to our next stay. Almost want to say it was terrible just so it’s available when we want to come back.😆😆😜

Summary: It was an awe moment the moment we walked up to the cabin. The view of the lake from both the cabin and the patio are amazing. We watched woodpeckers, nuthatches, ospreys, eagles and more as we sat on the patio with coffee in the mornings and drinks in the evening. The activity on the lake was serene with skull boats, SUP's, and pontoon boats slowly sliding by. We had family out on several occasions to enjoy past memories of when we owned a cabin. It was the most relaxing stay we have had visiting the Minnesota relatives.

Summary: It’s was just the right amount of space for my wife and I and our two young children. The cabin was spotless and smelt great. We enjoyed taking the kayak out on the lake and ending the night with a drink on the dock. The hosts were great. No complaints.
