Summary: Was very impressed with property and found it as advertised. It is very quiet and peaceful. Cabin was clean and the scenery is amazing. The kids spent a ton of time playing in and around the river. Loved the canoes and kayaks! It is a steep drop to the river but unbelievably beautiful. Host was very responsive.

Summary: We went to kayak and it was great for that. Good launch point and 3 or 4 different route options. Hill is steep but manageable.

Summary: If you’re looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, this place is for you! Our family is naturally curious and we love outdoor adventures so the untouched landscapes and diverse wildlife provided us an endless playground for exploration! The water level was low during our stay, but we enjoyed hiking along the riverbed and collected river wood, shells, and rocks to take home with us. And even though we didn’t kayak, it was nice that all of the necessary equipment was available for our disposal. We took a day trip to Mammoth Cave and had such a great time walking through the ancient caverns. We also hit up Little Dave’s for some delicious comfort food and karaoke night! We had a great time and our stay at Tucky Cabin was a huge success. We will definitely consider coming back again!

Summary: Overall, we had a great experience. It is tucked in about 15-20 minutes. The house was clean, had what we needed. It was quiet and calm. A beautiful place to unplug. I recommend you go there prepared with food/drinks as the stores aren't too close. The owner was very responsive to our needs (which weren't much). We enjoyed our time at Tucky Cabin.

Summary: Had a wonderful stay at the Tucky Cabin. Fully stocked with all of the creature comforts you could need. The space was perfect for my family. Nice quiet location on the lake. We weren’t able to stay the first night due to a storm that knocked the power out. The owner was prompt with communication and refunded us for that night which we greatly appreciated. The driveway is super steep, so be careful there, otherwise no complaints! Would definitely stay here again.
