Summary: The owners had everything well stocked. Bed very comfortable. Best appliances of any prior VRBO rental. Reasonably close to the places we love. Thought it closer to Qualicum Beach hence the four stars on location. Managed communicated adequately.

Summary: Our siblings and spouses haven’t seen each other for a few years. We decided we needed to catch up and spend time together. We all live in different places, Sointula, Courtney, Gibsons and Vernon, so thought Quilicum would be a bit central. We had a fabulous time catching up, laughing, playing games, and walking the beach. The property was perfect! It was beautiful, well equiped and clean. The host was very friendly anwering all my questions and it was very easy to navigate there.

Summary: We were on a sewing retreat. It has everything we needed. Very bright and open. Could use a grab bar in the downstairs tub. Possibly some hooks for towels etc in the same bathroom. Other than that it was excellent. We had a very good time.

Summary: Our whole family loved our 4-night stay at this property. The proximity to the beach was so convenient with three kids, and the fireplace to warm up after coming in was well-stocked and cozy. It was nice getting away from the city and listening to the ocean waves as we went to sleep.

Summary: The Bowser Beach House was perfect for a fall visit with our grandkids. The house is lovely, spacious with vaulted ceilings, nicely furnished with comfortable leather couches and armchairs, and with all the amenities needed. And being literally steps from the beach was awesome. Absolutely perfect accommodation and location.

Summary: Overall impression was very good- I was a little concerned with communication as I expected to hear from owner or VRBO a little earlier. The cottage is spacious and well equipped. The cottage was very clean - there was a wet spot in the downstairs twin bedroom carpet but dried as we were there. The beach is close by and quite a nice area to swim. Overall we had a lovely vacation.
