Unwind in the tranquil relaxing cottage set amongst bird-rich native bush. At the top of the road is a stunning view of Kapiti Island. Out of the way and yet 5-15 minute drive close shops beautiful beaches, river, stunning bush walks, cycle tracks, aquatic centre and golf courses.
The cottage is situated at the base of the property and your hosts live up the driveway further. Please note there is a friendly old dog 'Jess' that roams the property.
Only 20 minute walk from the cottage to the town centre and railway station. Stay local and enjoy the friendly coastal atmosphere, arts, shops, and cafes or board the train into the buzz of Wellington city.

Summary: Visited for a family reunion. The cottage was beautiful and very accommodating for 5 adults. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The cottage was spacious and very clean with a few surprises in the pantry and fridge. Definitely recommend it. Had an absolutely comfortable stay.

Summary: This was an excellent place to spend a few days with family. Comfortable and warm, with a spacious garden and outdoor deck to enjoy. Hosts were unexpectedly helpful and friendly, and we were delighted with the extra surprises in the fridge upon our arrival!
