Summary: Our stay was utterly amazing, An absolute 10 out of 10. The communication was excellent with Nancy, our amazing host regarding what to expect, directions, and the check in process. The Keweenaw Castle is absolutely off the beaten path which allows for perfect peace and serenity. The home itself is stunning, with incredible scenic views, and the phrase “million-dollar sunsets” as used on the website is 100% accurate. We wanted for nothing during our stay. The room was incredibly comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed the novel idea of the guest kitchen. The great thing about going to a bed and breakfast, as opposed to a hotel, is that they are all different in their own ways. Some bring you breakfast right to your room. Some give you a choice of where and what time you want to eat. Some are more like a restaurant. Some serve the meal as a family style. At the Castle, you are given everything you need to make pretty much whatever your heart desires, whenever you happen to feel like doing so. The dishes, the cookware and the food, it's all there waiting for you. My wife and I didn't just stay in a room in a house on this trip; we were invited into Nancy and Keith's beautiful home, and showered with gracious hospitality. It felt just like we were visiting family, or dear friends that we've known for years. Do yourself a favor, and check out this incredible vacation destination!

Summary: We stayed four nights and it was so worth it. Great facilities and kitchen, comfy and clean, and our hosts were constantly checking to make sure we were taken care of. Had a couples massage too! So worth it. Even found two Yooperlites! Thank you so much for making our holiday stress free!

Summary: Nancy and Keith were excellent hosts. We felt very welcomed. We were more than delighted with our room. The king-sized bed was luxurious as was the spa-like shower. The crowning jewel of our room was the expansive views of Lake Superior in all its grandeur. The sunsets were splendid. We were pleased to spend extended evening hours on the rock beach as sunset didn't come until almost 10 pm. We even enjoyed a stormy day with the white caps and windy beach weather......so powerful and exhilarating. We relished much of the time to ourselves and basically saw other guests in passing. Yet, one evening, we accepted an invitation for a happy hour from our hosts in their residence. This turned into a delightful time of getting acquainted with our awesome hosts: Nancy and Keith and some of the other guests. Such fun! We give our stay at Keweenaw Castle Resort 5 stars and have already recommended this Castle hidden in the woods of the Keweenaw Penisula directly on Majestic Lake Superior to our family and closest friends. Other amenities to enjoy are a hot rock sauna, kayaking, bonfires, and more.

Summary: This 'castle' is literally on Lake Superior. We watched sunsets from our bed. The room we stayed in was very well-appointed, and the public areas are inviting. The one thing that was confusing was breakfast. This is not a B & B, but the owners provide 'make your own' breakfast fixings like many hotels do. The food choices were not great (for example, there were no adult cereals, fresh fruit were not re-freshed, there were no fresh pastries). And we did not see a single staff person in the four days we were there. That felt odd, too. But the place is great and very comfortable.
