Welcome to your front row seat of the New Truman Waterfront Park with water views and beautiful sunsets right from our porch. There are only a few homes in the Shipyard with a view like this! Most of the Shipyard has views of other units balconies and aren’t as private. There really is nothing like sitting on our balcony and watching the activity at the park and the ocean.
If you're coming for any of the events that Key West offers you can see the parades from our balcony! Fantasy Fest, Speed Boat races and many others are right in front of you.
Welcome to your home away from home and enter through the canopy of trees to the secure, patrolled Shipyard Condominium's in the desirable Truman Annex Complex. We are one of the few in the Shipyard with an ocean view. Professionally designed to maximize relaxation and encourage adventure.
Relax on the balcony with your glass of wine and you're bound to see a cruise ship, sailboat or parasailer pass by. It's the perfect seat to watch the parades or boat races. Fort Zachary Taylor State Beach is a 2 minute bike ride away. This wonderful home has been newly decorated with a beach chic theme, comfortable outdoor furniture, professionally designed bedrooms with new queen beds in each room , fully stocked kitchen, living room, washer/dryer. Some of the amenities include WIFI, SMART TV's, and an assigned parking spot . Steps from the world famous Duval Street, sunset celebration and all the downtown action one desires. You are only one block down from The Green Parrot, rated the 3rd best bar in America. The Shipyard is the closest residential location to Fort Zachary State Park and Beach. You are in the heart of Old Town, Mallory Square (sunset celebration) and on the grounds of Harry Truman's Little White House located in Truman Annex, a secure enclave of historic and exclusive residences, Truman Annex is the most exclusive and magnificent development in Old Town Key West with wide streets lined with multi-million dollar homes that are landscaped with 30’ palms and exotic flowering plants. It is just a short stroll to the Historic “Little White House” where President Truman called home whenever he could. You are close by the warm tropical waters of the Gulf of Mexico where you can hop on a fishing boat for flats or deep sea fishing, take the Ferry to Sunset Key for lunch or dinner, go parasailing, snorkeling, diving, shopping, dining or wherever your dreams might take you. Just another short stroll takes you to Mallory Square where the world renowned “Sunset Celebration” occurs every day! This event is a “don’t miss” of things to do in Key West.
We provide all of your kitchen essentials, just bring the cook, spices, and the food! Spacious living room where the living room doors open up into the private deck making your vacation a true Tropical experience.

Summary: The condo was great ! We loved the two balconies ! In the morning we sat out on the front balcony with our coffee and had a great view of Truman Park . In the afternoon -early evening we sat on the back porch which was shaded. We did have an issue with no hot water in the afternoon and evening for the entire stay . The issue was brought to the attention of Alicia but was never resolved. We did have hot water for morning shower only . We felt the issue should have been taken care of since we were paying guest's .

Summary: I just want to say how satisfied with our stay at Alicia’s Key West Rooster accommodations. The grounds is greatly manicured with luscious vegetation and palm trees. We loved the location that it was only a few blocks from Duval street and all the action but just far enough away that it was quiet. We used the communal pool which was very quiet and only had a few people there which made it seem like it was almost private. We loved the property which was everything that was described and then some. Alicia was had great communication with us and was always there if we had any issue. We rented bikes from We Cycle which is two blocks away and cycled all over the island. Key West has a lot to offer and we loved our stay. Alicia was a fabulous host and we look forward to returning there soon. Thanks again Alicia

Summary: Everything was great! Contact with the owner was a breeze, the location was so wonderful-walking distance to everything plus the having the free Duval trolley stop right there was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: The location couldn’t have been better. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood but short walk to everything (Duval, Mallory Sq, Truman Park, etc). Plus a great deli on the corner for a convenient bite/coffee/ice cream. The place was just right, two nice bedrooms and a deck off the front and the back. Everything we could need was provided including a basket with pool towels and sunscreen. There was also a steamer and robes in the closet which we didn’t need but was a nice touch! The pool was close by and never too busy, plenty of lounge chairs, and the water was just right temperature wise.We would happily stay here again.

Summary: Me and a few friends stayed here for a week for the recent 2024 Key West boat races. I have been attending this event for years and this property was by far the best one yet. Location to both the races/pits and Duval St made it very desirable. Everything was as advertised pertaining to all the amenities.

Summary: This is the first time I have ever stayed in a vacation home where everything was exactly as described. The condo was as beautiful as the pictures. The clean, simplistic feel of the condo made it feel spacious. It was perfect for our small family. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained, and so close to all the sights. We had a great time exploring the area!

Summary: The overall stay was great. The beds were comfortable, the home was clean and the neighborhood was beautiful. My family stayed for just under a full week. Having two balconies, one covered and one open was perfect, especially so we could dry our wet towels and clothes. Unfortunately the dryer wouldn't get hot so being able to sun dry our beach towels and wet bathing suits was super helpful for us. We rented bikes for a few days. It was nice that there were spots to park the bikes and lock them up right outside the unit. We did have some difficulty finding where to park. Instructions were texted to us right before arriving but unfortunately the map image sent was blurry so I couldn't read the street names for the parking entrance. After driving around for a bit and talking to a permanent resident we found our parking spot. We only have one suggestion which is to provide a fold up wagon for your guests. The spot provided for parking was really far from the unit. We drove in so we had all our groceries and personal items to bring up to the unit when we arrived. It was difficult.
