Positive: Location was very good, just few minutes walk to fisherman wharf and 10 minutes to pier 39 Room was very clean and comfortable Staff was very helpful Breakfast in hotel is good
Negative: It was marked as breakfast included but in reality you get 50$ per room per-day for breakfast. Hot breakfast cost 20-25$ each plus drink. So for family of 3 if you gave hot breakfast and coffee expect pay another 60-65$ on top of 50$ voucher. Means breakfast partially included

Positive: Really well located in one of the safest areas. Can walk to the cable car turnarounds, Fisherman's Wharf, the Alcatraz ferry, etc. Also virtually opposite the rental car companies if you want to pick up a car to leave SF as we did. If you've stayed at other IHG / Hilton / Marriotts, then you know what you're getting. Happy hour was a nice bonus.
Negative: The onsite restaurant looked a bit overpriced, but I understand it is independent of the hotel.
Summary: Terrific (and safe) location to explore SF

Negative: Not sure if it was just our room, but there was a lack of lighting and mirrors There were only a couple of lamps in the room, and mirrors were in the bathroom only. Not the end of the world but made it awkward to get organised
