Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: It was conveniently located near a bus stop so was not complicated to get to. It was exactly the traditional experience I was looking for. Staff was very helpful.
Negative: My only complaint is that they didn’t switch the male and female sides of the onsen so I wasn’t able to experience all of the baths that I saw in the photos. In other onsen a I have visited, they would alternate baths so that you could experience both sides.
Summary: We enjoyed our stay very much and are very thankful to Hata san who guided us expertly through our challenges.

Positive: everything! the location is great for a relaxing stay, you can easily access it by bus or taxi. if you’re looking for a place close to restaurants and shops this might not be the best place for you, but if you’re prioritizing relaxation this is a great option for your stay. we stayed only one night and it was perfect, the rooms are very comfortable (some facilities are a bit outdated but functional) and the staff are incredibly polite and helpful. we experienced the two private baths and they were wonderful, super relaxing. the meals were a great plus, everything was fresh and delicious. overall an amazing stay!
Summary: relaxing and authentic, would recommend!
