Summary: The maison and location are truly a feeling of reliving a time way back in the 17th century. You open a window to a street of amazingly well restored and maintained houses and a cobblestone street barely changed if at all save for maintenance since the 1600's. Inside the feeling is similar except for all the modern conveniences we all are accustomed to. This is truly a gem . Carmen is sincerely accommodating and helpful.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at L’Aubaine! Eguisheim is a beautiful village and this property is in the heart of it all. The property is cozy and comfortable with a newly renovated bathroom and washing machine, which was great in the middle of a 3 week trip! There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, one with a full bed and one with a twin. There is also a pull out sofa in the living room. Parking is on the street but we found spaces nearby with little trouble. Overall we had a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Summary: We had a lovely week staying in this typical Alsatian house. It had everything we needed for self catering but there are plenty of places to eat out too. The house was immaculate and comfortable. We arrived in a heat wave - thankfully there were two fans to cool us down. We enjoyed the selection of local produce to sample (including a gift of a bottle of local Riesling and a Bundt cake which disappeared quickly) Eguisheim is also very well placed for the wine route and many interesting historical and cultural sites. One of the highlights was driving the Route des Crêtes to the Grand Ballon for spectacular views of the Vosges mountains and the Rhine valley.
