Positive: Amazing views of the mountains, forests and the Coronado coastline in the distance. Very quiet and peaceful.surroundings. Great area to hike in the morning and the locals are very friendly. The manager Else and staff were very friendly and the meals were simple but very good. I had the Fish both nights and it was very good..

Else and her team were incredibly attentive and took great care of us – the home-cooked food was one of the highlights of our experience. 10/10 would recommend and hope we'll be able to come back in the future!

Positive: Betsy is an excellent cook. Best dinner we had in Panama! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The pool was very nice and we enjoyed a very relaxing few days. We needed to change our reservation and Sigfried was super about accommodating our request. The room was very nice and clean and the linens and towels really nice! Pool towels were provided. Such a nice spot to get away and relax after touring around the area all day!!
Negative: There could have been a better selection of drinks in the pool fridge but we knew to bring our own snacks so it wasn't that big a thing. We were just expecting a bar. We walked up to the place across the street and found a full service bar there. We were alone at the place at night and that was a bit disconcerting as we were not familiar with the area. A TV would have been nice in the room to get the news, since it is super dark and windy at night, but we read and played cards on the bed so it wasn't that big a deal.
Summary: One of the best places we stayed in Panama. We will go back when we return.

Positive: Beautiful pool overlooking a wide open country side area (the Pacific and Coronado are 20 minutes away)that was very peaceful and tranquil. The staff were very friendly and open to our needs. We had meals there all three days and they were well prepared and tasty. We would walk and meet the neighbors(we speak Spanish) which were happy to visit and then come back to the pool for the rest of the day. As mentioned by others, you will see many different birds coming by to get a drink and refresh by the water. Our room opened to the wide open country side and was very private. There are just three rooms here so you get lots of private space, it’s a very romantic place.
Negative: The internet doesn’t reach the two back rooms where we were, but the new owners who arrived the night before we left are up grading that so that should not be a problem soon. We got wifi by the pool and dining areas. We managed fine as it was.
Summary: A very relaxing and beautiful stay out in the country.
