Summary: The front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant i even called before arrival and was taken care of. The room was ok floor felt gritty and sticky no tissues in the box. The second floor hall carpet was disgusting and need immediate attention. Breakfast was ok and the gentleman working it was very nice. The pool area was ok but the pool needed a cleaning and chemicals. A lot of dogs at this site even had a lady try to get her dog inside the pool and i had to let her know no pets in the pool area. She wasn't happy about it but sorry no thanks. There was a maintenance man walking up and down the hallway that made us uncomfortable watching which rooms we went in and working and representing the hotel should require a certain attire his shirt had his stomach out clearly didn't fit and butt crack exposed in the back. Definitely some things need attention. We have always enjoyed staying here but this time left us feeling not great about it

Summary: I travel from Alabama to Iowa at least 1 a month. I always stay at a LaQuinta. Dog friendly, very clean and super easy check in and out. The new upgrades at the Festus location are nice! No more carpet.

Summary: Well, they put us in the first room by the lobby. The overnight workers continue to carry on a very loud conversation laughing and joking, waking us up at times on several nights. The beds were extremely hard. The breakfast was excellent the room space was excellent and the people were friendly staying there the, employees were more concerned with the conversation amongst themselves then tending to guests. Customer service was not very good. However I would stay here again just not in the first room and hopefully the elevator will be working. The only ice machine is on the second floor in the elevator was broke the entire time and talking to other people staying there long-term it had been broke for over a month.
