Positive: Loved the location - close to the square. The house and the bedrooms spacious. The basics in the kitchen provided (milk, tea, coffee, salt, pepper).
Negative: The beds were a bit too soft for some of us and the pillows were a bit flat. Could have done with a few pillows of different combinations (firm, soft, etc). The dishwasher did not work well - had to handwash the dishes after a cycle but the owners tell me that they are replacing the appliances.

Positive: Great location, spacious bedrooms and comfy beds. Covered deck out the back with doors table and seating, was lovely place to sit and relax. Kitchen had everything you needed. Host was lovely and we felt relaxed and welcomed, and that nothing was a problem if we needed to make contact. Great value for money. Thank you!

Positive: The cottage was so close to town and exceeded our expectations. It was such good value for money. We loved the fact that there was a dishwasher, which was so convenient. The cottage had all the amenities we needed. The host met up with us after check in to provide us with a booster seat for the babies.
Negative: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Seeing as it was quite hot during our stay a portable fan might have come in handy for the rooms, but it didn’t deter us from having a nice stay and a good nights sleep.

Positive: Great communication with the owner regarding access to the property. Well located with a 10-12 minute walk into the town centre. Loved the indoor-outdoor flow of the house and enjoyed breakfast on the deck both mornings plus a bbq dinner one evening. Very well equipped kitchen with plenty of plates, glasses, utensils, serving dishes etc. 3 very comfy queen beds for the 6 of us with plenty of pillows and blankets. We had washing to do and the washing machine wouldn't fill with water - contacted the owner and she suggested other options including offering to do washing at her own house or using the new laundromat in town. She has since advised they have decided to purchase a new washing machine so that shouldn't be an issue again.
Negative: Can't fault our stay at this lovely property.
Summary: Loved our stay at La Rocque Cottage and will definitely be back to stay again!!
