Positive: Breakfast was great and especially enjoyed chatting with the host over breakfast. The BnB was as charming and unusual as Bo Kaap itself.
Negative: We could have used hand towels. There were only bath towels. Pretty minor complaint and I suppose I could have asked for some. LOL
Summary: Really enjoyed staying at such a unique, individual place.

Positive: Really nice and friendly place with very kind and helpful staff and owner. Breakfast in the common inner courtyard where you feel like a big family along a big table is great and the breakfasts were full and very well cooked. Good coffee. Lots of interesting discussions as the owner joins in at breakfast. Also, sitting on the top terrace at night with a drink in the warm evenings was very nice. We recommend this place and will stay again when we visit Cape Town next time.

Positive: Fabulous staff and very interesting stay , clean comfortable , great beds Remember it’s a Urban choice and don’t be expecting 5 star but we were so happy with our stay , very close to everything . Maybe not elderly as lots of stairs and trip hazard areas as it’s very old building ..
Negative: felt a little wary in the area at night , its a great area for exploring in daylight hours get an uber home at night not that we encountered any issue at all , The neighbourhood felt inclusive

Positive: Interesting riad-style accommodation in a wonderful historic part of Cape Town. If you are well- traveled and enjoy lively conversation about a wide variety of topics with the owners and their guests from around the World, you will fit right in. If you want Hyatt- style sameness and blandness, this is probably not for you, but YOU will be the one missing a memorable stay. I would stay here again anytime !
Negative: Instant coffee in the room. Coffee was wonderful at breakfast, but a "pod- style" coffee maker would have been nice in the evening.

Positive: Absolutely loved this stay, host was super friendly along with his beautiful staff, recommended activities to do when 1 a tour was cancelled, has someone on duty at night to make sure guests are all in house plus 1 outside all night. Breakfast was fabulous, felt very safe around the area
Negative: There was nothing I didn’t like, would highly recommend to stay here

Positive: perfect location, clean and comfortable rooms (even if the room i got allocated was not the initial ones assigned to me). safe and secure. breakfast looked delicious. sadly, i am not a breakfast person.
Negative: the room i was allocated was right next to the dining area. we were encouraged to make use of the area if we were eating, but that extended to people skyping late at night. staff also started setting up for breakfast at 6:45. all of this noise filtered into the room.
