Summary: We had a fantastic stay! Everyone at the hotel was incredibly helpful with planning our days—offering great recommendations and making sure we made the most of our time. The rooms were cleaned daily and always felt fresh and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing—definitely one of the highlights of our stay! Plus, the location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see and do. Highly recommended!

Summary: My experience at Rouge on Rose lived up to the reviews I had read before I booked it. The staff was very helpful, Jean, Michel and Chris were all great! Breakfast was excellent. My room was clean, and comfortable, and the one minor issue I had was solved quickly. You may want to avoid walking by yourself at night in Bo-Kapp.

Summary: Great service from all the staff at the hotel. Very knowledgeable and very helpful. Excellent area for restaurants and bars and close to the hop on/hop off bus, which services all the main attractions.

Summary: Michel made us feel so welcome to Cape Town and his passion for this area was infectious. We took him up on many of his suggestions. Lovely friendly staff and day and night security systems means you feel safe. So many great places to eat very close by and just at the edge of Bo Kaap but only a 25 minute walk to the V&A waterfront. We hope to return!

Summary: I travel the world, and have been staying in hotels for 10+ years. Rouge on Rose in Cape Town is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Michel, Obed and the team were masterful in their service, information and support. I had early mornings, late night, and needed advice on the area - and EVERYTHING I asked for was catered for. I'm actually thinking of coming back just to see what else I could ask to see if they would achieve it - and I am confident in their knowledge and care that they will exceed expectations even then. Cannot recommend this gem of a hotel enough. Breakfast was fantastic, and everything was done with a smile. Would recommend for solo, couples or groups.
