Positive: The apartment is very comfortable and well maintained (everything worked!). Rosa & Giovanni are a delightful couple and very helpful. There were bikes in the garage if we wanted to use them and they also supplied a beach umbrella. Highly recommended :)

Positive: I loved this town!!! We were able to explore in the day and relax in the apartment in the evening. We loved the local community and enjoyed the balcony and the ability to cook and live among the locals. We enjoyed the area, the beaches, the restuarants, the cafes and all the the beautiful shopping of a local community. The host Rose was the kindest most beautiful lady with the best recommendations and even shared her family recipes with us.

Positive: Roomy flat in the centre of Sestri Levante. The rooms are clean and tidy, there are two bathrooms and the kitchen has basic amenities. There's a lift in order to get to the second floor and there's free public parking on the back of the building. It takes about 15 minutes on foot to the beach. The owners went even the extra mile and organized child seats for the bikes.
Negative: The flat is old, acoustic isolation is lacking so that you can hear the railway even at night.

Positive: Superb. Firstly very nice hosts who were very kind and helpful. The apartment was very clean and spacious, 2 bathrooms was very practical. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and they provided some coffee, biscuits, cereal and water. The area around the apartment is lovely, a good supermarket just opposite and some other shops. Also a tasty pizza takeaway just next door. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The town of Sestri is also very nice. Again lots of bars and restaurants, but at the same time not just a tourist place. The apartment is a 15 minute walk to the old town/beach and also the railway station. So very convenient for a day trip by train to Cinque Terres villages, Portofino (train + bus), or even Pisa (1 hour 30 minutes approx). A great apartment, would definitely recommend as a comfortable base for exploring the area.

Positive: Everything about this apartment is high standard: the rooms are airy and decluttered but have a warm style. Marble/stone floors and great aircondition make the temperature comfortable. Two balconies with mountain view and birds singing in the morning. Everything was clean and the kitchen well equipped -even an espresso machine! Very nice, helpful and welcoming hosts who gave us great tips on activities and walking trails in the area. Restaurants and grocery stores just around the corner.
Negative: For me and my kids the location was great, but if you have walking impairment you might consider the distance of 1 km to the beach.
