3 Bedroom House in Mineral

Bluewater Community has its own little beach, 2 launches, picnic areas, fishing dock and beautiful pavillion that guests can use. Our House is newly renovated in the woods with a fire pit and wooded acre 325 feet back to a little creek. It is also only 2 blocks from the water with easy circular driveway to bring your ski's, boat, and canoes. The cabin has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a thick futon, and sleeper sofa in the living room. Optional 3rd bedroom and half bath. Plenty of flat lawn for tenting fun. Kitchen is stocked with amentities. Food Lion grocery, liquor store, restaurants are only 5 minutes away. There is a state park nearby with hiking trails and more and Lake Anna has a winery and 2 breweries for more fun. Tim's has putt putt, ice cream shop, volley ball and live music every weekend and many more great restaurants close by including Pirates Cove. There is a little brook at end of back at back of property. Gas and regular grill outside with picnic table and some seating for campire. Great friendly neighborhood.

Summary: The house is in a great spot with access to the lake that’s walking distance or a short drive. The house came with conveniences and a selection of dvds. Lori was very friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This is a nice, quiet place for a quick family vacation. The property looks much nicer inside than the photos show, especially the multiple bedrooms. Nicely decorated and they allow you to set up sleeping arrangements for maximum family peace ;) This is really great for a family with young kids. The location is very peaceful - it is inside a gated community with very respectful people who give each other space. We were about 1:15 hours from the Thornton Gap entrance of Shenandoah National Park, and perhaps an hour from Charlottesville and Monticello. After a busy few weeks of work in the DC area, this was the perfect getaway for our family.The owner was very easy to get in touch with, and she helped us with all of our questions. Pleasant lady who definitely seemed to care that we had a good time there. Tips:- The AC units are great, but they have super bright indicator lights. Bring a bit of tape or post-its to cover them up during your stay if this will bother you.- Plenty of firewood available for the firepit, but most of the logs are not split. Bring a firestarter log or two to help get your fire burning. - No wifi (as indicated in the description). We have verizon and usually had 2 bars and LTE around the house.
