This lake home is the located on beautiful Lake Arenal in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. This quiet & peaceful location is one of the finest and secure gated communities on Lake Arenal. The home is spacious, relaxing and complete with all of the fine amenities of living.

A locally based property management team will help you with check-in and when needed to ensure that your stay is as peaceful as our pictures looks.
Rooms: 1 Master King bed with full Bath and a second room with 1 King bed with full bath plus an extra 1/2 bath in the laundry room.
The interior is crafted from local natural woods, granite, and handcrafted tiles. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, hand crafted wood cabinets, and granite counter tops. Coffee maker, blender, ice maker, toaster are among the many items in the kitchen.
New beds and bedding were purchased in August 2018 making your stay even more like home.
A vehicle (car) is highly recommended. 4 Wheel drive is not necessary.

Summary: This was an overall good experience. The house is beautiful. We made coffee and cooked breakfast almost every morning then went out to explore the area. The house is conveniently located 1 1/2 hours from La Fortuna and the Arenal Volcano, La Fortuna Waterfall, thermal spas, Mt Verde cloud forest, and the Rio Celeste waterfall. A rental car is a must in this area. Don’t know how we would be able to see all we did in 4 days without it. The house is in a gated community. We felt very secure. Only complaint was that the house had no AC. You don’t need it at night but coming back in the afternoon from adventures, it would have been nice.

Summary: Overall this property was beautiful and very spacious. Smart TV to watch things in your down time, plenty of kitchen cookware and appliances to do the cooking you need to. If you’re planning on staying here during your visit to Arenal volcano, just know that it will take you an hour and a half to drive each way (which I did not realize beforehand). Beautiful location if you’re looking for a secluded getaway!

Summary: Enjoyed our stayed. House was just like pictured, however their were several things that needed to be fixed, some light bulbs needed changing, batteries for TV remote, pool area was very neglected and unusable. However we loved the area and would stay there again

Summary: We loved the spaciousness of this location. So comfortable! A rainbow on the horizon almost a daily occurrence. We spent every evening on the grand veranda recounting our activities of the day. We loved the stove and cooked up some great meals. The view from the veranda was wonderful. We could hear howler monkeys each morning from around the lake. Plenty of beautiful little birds visiting the property along with some green parrots. Thank you Pablo for being a great host! Summary: We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for others. The things we liked: The owner was very responsive. The house was spacious and clean, the beds were comfy, there is a washer/dryer, the back patio was a nice place to sit, the property was protected by a gate and guard, the area was quiet even though the houses in the small neighborhood were close together, there was a wonderful little restaurant practically within walking distance (Brisas Del Lago--HIGHLY recommend!), a German bakery not too far away (recommend) and a little ways away is the Macadamia Restaurant (HIGHLY recommend). I give this home a 4.5! The only reason it is not a 5: While we felt good having the gate in the neighborhood, we had trouble getting in when we arrived (wrong code) and then when we did get the code the keypad to get out of the neighborhood never worked for us (note: my husband would get out of the car and walk through the small gate to the other side and use the outside key pad). Also, the toilet was not flushing properly but my husband was able to fix it in not too long of a time. Other small suggestions: It would be nice to have a small bar of bath soap in the bathrooms for weary travelers who don't realize there won't be any! We also realized that the hood over the stove is not connected and it is not a big deal but there is not a lot of light for cooking. Lastly, the hot water in the kitchen sink was not connected. None of this was a big deal but that is why I give this really nice home a 4.5. We are grateful to have visited this area.

Summary: Several day stay here made us enjoy the spacious house that looked over Lake Arenal. From here we travelled to various sites on or near the lake including the volcano, coffee farm and hot springs. It was nice to get back to base camp at dusk and enjoy the birds and some good food.

Summary: Great property! The view and the surroundings are simple beautiful. The communication with the property manager was flawless. I have rented a lot of properties in the last 15 years in many countries and this property rates on the top 5 due the location. The house is nice with a good distribution and the terrace is great for breakfast or drinks to watch the sunset. The area is full of activities and places to visit. I´m even considering buying a property in the area. Thanks to Eric and Pablo!!!
