Positive: The location was excellent - very quiet and peaceful.

Negative: There were a few issues: - we had a problem with the linen. - the dustbin lid was not clean - had old food on it.

Summary: Overall, we had a very pleasant stay, however, expected higher standard of cleanliness.

Positive: PEACE This place is a prime example of catering for peace and relaxation My wife and I love remote areas that are private, And Misty is a step further, A Beautiful lake house that has a homely feeling, with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Gas stove Gas heater Microwave Toaster Coffee machine All Cutlery Bathroom is extremely clean You have the lake all to yourself. Mike the property manager was very nice and also provided tackle for fishing. We spent our days cooking, braaing, fishing, hiking and taking in the stunning views. Thanks again to the owner and Mike Atish and Magashini Ramsundra

Positive: Everything was on point. The property was very accommodating in all aspects. There are towels provided, hot water on arrival, fishing rods, gas heater, and gas braai, amongst other things. Mike was there to greet us on arrival, and as we checked out

Positive: Lots of open space away from people and other animals. It's perfect for more reactive dogs and big dogs. It is very quiet apart from birds and other obvious nature sounds. We even heard jackals far off and there's a pair of eagles. Reedbuck were on the property far away and Eland on the adjacent property. No animals came close to the property so as to be a concern for dogs (or people)

Negative: Although there wasn't an indoor broom or mop available we managed to keep the place relatively tidy with the outdoor super hard bristle broom for the deck. A slightly longer hose pipe outside for rinsing dam water and mud off of doggies would also be really great.
