A short walk up the street from Harbor Beach Mariana the world's largest man made harbor (with 6 public boat launches and 114 boat slips ) and the Grice maritime museum.
Wake to magnificent breath taking sunrises to start your days adventure and exploration. Just north of the charming little lakefront town of Harbor Beach a small town, with plenty of options including water front parks with sandy beaches and fishing pier, light house tours , museums, library, movie theater. farmers market, festivals and art fairs seasonally at Murphy's museum grounds every Friday May 24 - Oct 11, from 2-6 PM. Harbor Beach Maritime festivals July 11-14.
A pedestrian bike/walking path just down the street from our home connects everything. There's a Kayak access point at Trescott street pier or you can launch from our beach. Tours of our 1885 light house are available on Saturdays throughout the summer. Museums, library, movie theater. Plus just a short drive to other fun Lake Huron front towns such as Port Hope, Grindstone, Caseville , Port Austin. For more information and things to do check out Harbor Beaches website. You'll have access to the entire space , and grounds all the way to the water. where there's a fire ring on the beach and log seating, you're welcome too safely use at your own risk. there's plenty of wood to collect on the property for use to feed the fire ring.

Summary: This was a wonderful location in a quiet area. We loved the bonfire pit on the beach and the fact that it was private. We will be recommending it to others.

Summary: The house was very clean and checkin was easy. Nicely supplied. The water was very low at the Lake so could not get close. Beautiful view at the beach, not able to see the Lake view from house but it was a very short walk. Meet a deer on my way to see the sunrise, she just stood there and we were like that for a few seconds! Great pics of the sunrise and full moon over Lake Huron, which is why we choose the house. Cute place and had everything we needed!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. The house seems newly renovated, clean and comfortable. The view was beautiful just as the pictures show with a nice little walk to the beach. Very scenic for an October getaway up north.

Summary: This is a beautiful and quiet property. It’s right on the lake and it has everything you need for a quiet getaway. We enjoyed the fire pit on the lake every evening. The price is very reasonable and totally worth it. The owner is great and was always available to answer questions.

Summary: The house that has been remodeled modernly. Very close to Lake Huron, though water is low right now. It was well-appointed, everything you needed was there. Owner was thoughtful, he checked in on us twice.

Summary: I was looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful and I definitely found it here! Incredible property with quiet private beach. The only suggestion I have, is the walking path could use a grooming. Lots of overgrowth with picker bushes. Had a perfect time, I will definitely be back!
