Sheltered Shores is a family home located directly on the water. This quiet Cove is the perfect location for a family getaway. With three kayaks, fire pit, and easy water and dock access this will make the kid’s memories for years to come. This one story brick home has 3 bedrooms and two full baths on main level (King in master, queen in one guest, queen in second guest bedroom.) There is a bonus room above the garage with two twin beds, a queen Serta futon, a twin futon a TV and a sink vanity.This home has very large open living room, three season porch perfect for naps after playing hard and table for eating while enjoying watching lake activities. Back deck has two four s at tables and two lounge chairs. There is a fairly level walk down to waters edge, nice shady lawn for enjoying watching lake activities while enjoying the breeze, and covered dock for jumping and playing in the water. There is a small boat ramp on the property for putting in kayaks or walking straight into water. In a storage container we have all sorts of floats, water toys. There are also life jackets for your use. We provide dish and laundry supplies, starter paper supplies, sample bathroom supplies, kitchen staples, and fully stocked kitchen, all bed and bath linens. A large grocery store and gas station is located 5 mile away. A great waterfront restaurant located just across the main channel for boating to dinner.
This Lake Keowee waterfront home is a perfect spot to rest and rejuvenate due to the quiet cove that has an abundance of wildlife with daily visits from the mallards, herons, turtles, and plenty of fish. You can stand and fish right off the dock. If you are coming for some great family memories this is an excellent setting for your kids to play within the safe waters of cove, including a tree swing.
All bath, bed, kitchen linens provided. Excludes beach towels. All kitchen supplies, coffee, filters, creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, Pam. Shower and hand soaps, and starter paper products.
If you plan to bring your boat, please make sure you are aware of the rules/ regulations of the lake.

Summary: The property was immaculate. Very clean, well stocked comfortable on a beautiful quiet cove. The pictures are representative but the property inside and out is even better than pictures. The owners we the most responsive to our questions (there were no issues) but we had a couple questions and they responded almost instantly. Would rate higher than 5 stars if possible. We can’t wait to return.

Summary: My wife and I do a lot of traveling. That being said, we have seen our fair share of rental properties. However, this property “Sheltered Shores” comfortably rests at the TOP of my list. The photos in the listing pale in comparison to the true actual on-site visual representation, henceforth the title I chose to represent this amazing property! Whether you are sitting on the dock, around the fire pit, the screened in porch, the deck, or even washing dishes at the kitchen sink…You are immersed in absolute serenity. The cove is so peaceful and inviting that it takes your breath away, giving way to views that make time stand still. The house is spacious, clean and very well furnished, with a great sense of character. It is quite obvious that the owners take great pride in their property and providing a pleasurable experience. The attention to details and the amenities provided speak clearly that the owners, Amanda and Lee, care about you and truly want you to enjoy your stay. The location is perfect as you are located within 10 – 20 minutes of just about anything you could want. We, the four of us total could never fully express what a true pleasure and blessing it was for us to have the privilege to stay at Sheltered Shores! What an Amazing time we all had! Summary: We brought our own kayaks and explored the lake. The house is CLEAN, very comfortable and has a well stocked kitchen. We had a couple of rainy days- but still enjoyed our visit. We would definitely stay again at this property. Thanks !

Summary: We traveled down to Lake Keowee to celebrate Easter and help our Clemson daughter start her move out process. This property was perfect. It is about 20 minutes from Clemson and the perfect little spot to relax and be with family. The property owners were great and had everything you may need to feel at home. The views are breathtaking and my family did not want to leave. If we need a place to stay in the future we will defiantly book again.

Summary: We were there to fish a tournament. We had 6 adults 5 vehicles and three bass boats. We had plenty of room for parking. House was clean and exactly as described. House was clean and well kept. Would definitely stay again! Owner was great for communication. 10 out of 10

Summary: We have rented many properties on Lake Keowee over the years (visit often as I was born and grew up in the area and come back to visit family)- Sheltered Shores is our favorite! The house is beautiful and comfortable, and the views are incredible! So quiet and peaceful - whether on the deck, the screened-in porch, or at the dock or fire pit by the lake. The property is definitely superior in terms of the quality of the furnishings and amenities in the living areas, kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Everything was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The property owners were very responsive to our needs and communicated clearly and often. Can’t wait to go back!

Summary: The home view of the beautiful emerald colored lake was breath taking. There was plenty of room to hang out as a family as well as ample space to have alone time. Everything from restaurants to grocery stores are a very short drive. The owners were responsive and helpful from start to finish. We will definitely be staying there again in the future!!
