Summary: My mother, sister, niece, and I take a girl’s weekend every year. We look for unique houses in locations where there an interesting places to explore. This house perfectly fit the bill. Host was nice and responsive without being overbearing. One thing I think is important for future renters to know is that the main living area and kitchen are up a flight of stairs. Location is beautiful and Lake MacBride offers a lot to do.

Summary: Great cabin for hosting a family with kids or a small group of adults! Excellent view of Coralville Lake, comfortable beds, fully stock kitchen utensils, and beautiful deck! Will definitely be back!

Summary: Property description and previous reviews are accurate. I needed to initiate contact with the property manager to get the property access code and again later to get wifi password.

Summary: The deck was full of leaves and tree falling. We had to quickly sweep before guests arrived. Door from lower level had cobwebs on it. Floors were not the cleanest. We moved the couch to look for a lost ring and under the couch was not clean at all. There was not enough wash clothes for our 12 guests and there was not any shampoo in the showers.

Summary: Sturdy cabin on the lake. All the modern conveniences. Very clean and comfortable. Wonderful for the kids and our German Shepherd was permitted. The cabin was very thoughtfully decorated and was very quaint. Nice deck for relaxing. The beds could use an upgrade of mattresses. Overall excellent place.
