Boat dock is great for swimming, sunbathing, fishing, kayaking, etc. Guests can take advantage of the provided kayaks and explore the lake's shoreline or take an excursion across the water to Treasure Island for an adventurous nature experience. The home is also located a short drive to local Pier 43 Marina where you can rent a pontoon boat for even more fun with a day out on the water.
You'll enjoy waking up with fresh brewed coffee taken on the back deck as you watch the sunrise and the lake come to life. Amenities include a fully stocked kitchen, outdoor gas grill, Smart TVs with Spectrum cable subscription, covered back porch with outdoor TV, washer/dryer as well as Wi-Fi printer/scanner available for those that still need access while working on the go.

Summary: Property was awesome and perfect for our extended family of 11. We enjoyed being on the dock every day, swimming in the lake, tubing, boating, and relaxing. The steps down to the lake from the house are a lot, but you can drive down the private drive and right to the dock to make things easier. I was concerned the steps might be an issue but with the driving option, it was no issue at all. The house is very nice and super comfortable. We watched deer in the yard, had bluebirds on the back porch railing, and enjoyed wonderful views of Lake Tuscaloosa. The location is also ideal as it is away from the busy part of the lake. Grocery store only 13 mins away! The kids swam and tubed right in front of the dock! I highly recommend this place and you won’t be disappointed.

Summary: Spacious for the 12 of us staying there, beds were comfortable, the master bathroom was AMAZING, well stocked kitchen (we cooked all meals) plus grill, gorgeous lake view, fun kayaking, overall exactly what we needed for us and extended family to stay for our son’s graduation. We had an AC problem on Saturday night but host responded quickly and tried to have someone there to fix it that night. When that didn’t work, he offered to bring fans (we declined, but it was very nice for him to offer). Technician was there Sunday morning by 9:30 and got us fixed up in no time. Before our stay, when I had questions, the host was quick to answer. The 107 steps down to the lake weren’t so bad, however — coming back up we needed oxygen! Just kidding… but it’s a super short drive if you don’t want to take the stairs. We really enjoyed our weekend. Only suggestion I’d make would be to provide a stool in the master bedroom to get on the bed! (Ok, my husband suggested an elevator/lift in lieu of the stairs!)

Summary: My family and I came in from Houston to host my family Thanksgiving. Check in was a breeze, the house had been renovated and the updates are lovely. The views are amazing and the backyard offers multiple decks to enjoy them from. The layout is great, there’s 3 baths downstairs and one upstairs. The furniture is so comfy, the beds, chefs kiss (we slept in Master) but heard good things from the others. There were extra touches, from the welcome treat pail, probably one of the best we’ve had so far, to the cozy throw blankets placed lovingly throughout. The house was well stocked with kitchen needs. Now, one issue we had was the temp in the house, downstairs would be freezing while upstairs was HOT, they did send someone to service the unit but, it’s a bit hard to regulate the temp downstairs without melting the ones up. We eventually bought a heater for downstairs. Another thing that came up was on Thanksgiving, I received a note from the owner about my guest allocation and the 12 people max. Before booking I made it known that my intentions were to host thanksgiving dinner. The 12 people max, I thought was met based on the fact that ensured less than that stayed (overnight) during the day family came and went to say hi grab desserts etc. but the 12 obviously includes visitors too. I did make it known I was hosting Thanksgiving and ensured this was great. But I guess it was a minor issue. Overall though, it was nice to see family and the home would be lovely in warmer months

Summary: this house was absolutely stunning. The pictures don’t even do it justice. The beds are so comfortable, the space is clean, and the stairs to the lake will give you a workout for sure. You can’t beat the views and the house hosted all of us comfortably. We want to come back again next year!
