This updated cottage has 125' of frontage on the Munuscong Bay. It is an Upper Peninsula paradise for nature lovers and sportsmen, alike. It has a seasonal dock and small sandy beach area. The rental includes a rowboat (no motor). The Bay depths average between 4-6 feet and it is known for its excellent fishing, ice fishing and duck hunting. Enjoy the sunsets, watch the freighters in the distance, fish or just enjoy the peace and quiet.
It's an easy trip (less than an hour) to Cedarville, Mackinac Island ferries, Soo Locks, Kewadin casino and Chippewa County International Airport (CIU) or make a day trip to Whitefish Point (<2 hrs) or the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore (2.5 hrs).
The cottage has 1300 sq. ft. of living space with 2 baths and 3 bedrooms. One bath and two bedrooms are upstairs (one with 2 full beds, one with 1 queen bed and balcony) and the other bath and bedroom are downstairs (one full bed). The property is on a private 0.6 acre lot. The kitchen has new appliances and is well-equipped. There is a new washer and dryer, charcoal grill, fire pit, deck, balcony, and 2 small TVs with a few local channels (no cable). Cellular signal is good at the property, but spotty in the surrounding area. Bed linens and towels (1/guest) provided. No smoking inside. Dogs considered (please inquire for pre-approval) with a non-refundable pet fee and signed pet addendum.

Summary: Beautiful sunsets and water that went from blue to green to brown (when the winds picked up.) The cottage was a perfect size and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Summary: We spent 5 lovely days at the cottage. While there we went to Mackinac Island, Drummond Island as well as both U.S. and Canadian Sault Ste. Marie towns. We found the commutes to all locations very convenient. This cottage is exactly as advertised. We were all happy with the accommodations. The guys spent a morning in the rowboat hoping to attract some fish but were not successful. It was still a great time for them to row in the bay. The sunsets are amazing and would be hard to beat anywhere in the continental U.S.

Summary: We had a couples labor day getaway and this was just the perfect location! The property felt very private so we were able to hangout outside all day without feeling like anyone was around. The house was clean and had all the cooking appliances we could need, plus, tons of board games and quite a few movies to pick from. The property itself was absolutely beautiful. On top of that, the host, Tonya, was incredible. She offered to extend our checkout a couple of hours because the Mackinac Bridge was closed until noon. We had no clue until she mentioned it, but she saved us a couple of hours of just sitting in the car. Overall, we had a wonderful time and are considering turning this into an annual thing! 10/10 recommend this property.

Summary: Location on the water wonderful. Loved the kayaks. It was a bit remote and we did a lot of driving, but loved it all. Sunsets were amazing.

Summary: Great stay at wonderful cabin on the lake! Very secluded and quiet surroundings-felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves. Weather didn’t cooperate perfectly, but still got into the water with swimming at the beach by the dock and plenty of fishing. Countless perch were caught off the pier with a few pike as well! The cabin worked great for our family looking for a secluded piece of paradise on a lake!
