On the upper deck, enjoy a breathtaking sunrise overlooking the lake, complete with a patio table and chairs, plus two extra chairs for comfortable seating and a barbecue grill. The lower level also offers additional seating and an extended deck with a table and chairs for your comfort. Show your adventurous side with a game of cornhole or jump on the kayaks or paddle boards for leisure. Don't miss this charming, completely remodeled lake property located on Big Cedar Lake at Tri Lakes. Big Cedar is an all-sport lake from 1-4 pm. Experience an ultimate fun-filled day by renting a boat and amenities from nearby marinas! Whether skiing, tubing, or casting a line, every moment becomes a thrilling adventure in the sun. Big Cedar Lake connects to two other non-all-sport lakes (Little Cedar and Round Lake). The views of the lake from the back deck and shoreline are breathtaking. Just steps down to the lake with private frontage and wooden piers, you can enjoy all the wonders of lake life at its finest. A full wrap-around deck surrounds the home. An extra-wide gravel parking lot is located out front with plenty of room for family and friends. The home includes 4 bedrooms (1 king bedroom, 2 queen bedrooms, and 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds) and 3 full bathrooms, featuring original hardwood floors, carpet, and ceramic tile. The family room has sliding patio doors, while the kitchen boasts quartz countertops, custom hickory cabinets, a large island, pantry, under-cabinet lighting, and Frigidaire stainless steel appliances (including a gas range). There’s a linen closet, coat closet, and a family/rec room with an electric fireplace. The master suite has French patio doors with lake views, his/her walk-in closets, and a large tiled bathroom with a clawfoot tub, rain head shower, and double vanity with marble countertops. A fenced yard is perfect for small children and pets. Please note that the yard is fenced; however, access to the upper deck from the yard via steps is not gated off. Pets are allowed with pre-approval only. Please send an inquiry and provide pet details for us to review and approve to ensure the cottage is suitable for your pet. Note that while we have a fenced area for pets, it leads up to the upper deck (via stairs), and the deck does not have gating or other mechanisms for pet containment. There are no refunds for late arrivals, travel interruptions such as flight delays or traffic jams, or early checkout. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover your trip in case of unforeseen events. The maximum number of guests is capped at 8, with no exceptions. Air mattresses for extra guests are not permitted. We do not provide firewood, fire starters, or lighters and matches. Some may be available upon your arrival, leftover from previous guests, but this is not guaranteed. Summary: This home is exactly what is presented in the photos. Extremely clean and well kept. I loved the heated floors in the bathrooms and the fireplace downstairs. I hope this property is available again in this summer! 10/10

Summary: This house is great! There's lots of steps down to the lake so watch those. The bed downstairsin the master suite was amazing amd so were the heated floors in the bathroom. My husband was a bit upset the book said we could not lower the tempbelow 70 lol I wouod so stay here again.

Summary: My four sisters and I enjoyed this fantastic property during our weekend stay. The home is beautifully and thoughtfully designed. We had all we needed during our stay. We were also impressed with how clean everything was. It can be difficult to keep a property clean that is not always occupied and the owners do an amazing job. We would absolutely choose to stay here again.

Summary: My family of 5 adults and one small dog stayed for 6 nights in June. The house was beautiful and as pictured. The kitchen had plenty of cabinet space for all the food and snacks we had brought along. In communicating with the host, Marion before our stay, I had asked about a blender and filtered water. She had responded quickly that a blender and a Brita water pitcher would be purchased and waiting for us! What amazing customer service! Also, I had inquired about getting a 4th kayak, which also was available upon our arrival. Truly, Marion and Mike care about their guests. The house does have a lot of stairs to access the lake-but again-this is just as pictured. No surprises here! It will be a good work out for you! The lake is all sports from 1-4pm every day, and we were able to easily plan our kayaking and swimming/floating around those hours. Aside from plant life as you walk into the lake, it was easy access either directly from the dock, or the zero-depth access to the east of the dock. We enjoyed grilling and eating at the table on the deck every night. One night we ran out of propane, and we had a new tank delivered quickly from our hosts. Again-excellence in the host-department! I would not hesitate to recommend this home and the hosts to anyone! Thank you, Marion and Mike!

Summary: We booked this listing to be near the eclipse but got so much more. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen was well stocked (no toaster though), the view was breathtaking, and the location is perfect for a beautiful sunrise. Communication with Marion was great. Prior to getting there they answered every question I had and even went out of their way to install a gate on the steps leading from the house down to the fenced in yard. Everyone had a great time and will probably come back when it's warmer to experience the lake. The only cons is the yard is still not completely dog proof if you have escape artists. On the deck at the top of the stairs going to the lake there are balusters with pretty large gaps and at the top of the stairs on the other side of the gate there is a gap leading directly onto the top step. The owners did put up chicken wire but missed a few spots. Across from that there are gaps that, if your dog is brave, could jump off the deck onto the hill. The listing does say it's not dog or childproof but they have gone out of their way to get it as close as possible. All in all an amazing place for a vacation and reasonably priced as well for what you get.
