Summary: My husband and spent 3 nights here in September and loved it. We are in our 50's, new to Indiana, and wanted a quiet location on the water to relax, fish, and enjoy the scenery. This did not disappoint! Owner John is easy to communicate with and check-in was seamless. The caretaker Greg lives nearby and does a great job making you feel welcome but also giving total privacy. The home is really well stocked, clean, comfortable, and perfectly decorated for the location. The kitchen is large and they have thought of everything you might need. It is a bright cheery open living room/kitchen looking out onto the lake. The screened in porch is perfect for morning coffee and helps protect from the bugs at night. The lake is very small but that was a plus to us and part of the charm. We opted to rent the pontoon boat and have no regrets. We had no luck fishing (although the lake is crystal clear and you can see the fish and turtles everywhere) but really enjoyed going out early to watch the sunrise and watching the sunset from the boat. It is absolutely beautiful!! I love to swim and lounge in water, so I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't just jump off the dock to cool off. There are a lot of lily pads and pond plants surrounding the dock and it's very shallow making swimming and/or fishing difficult. The yard is beautiful though and there is comfortable seating all over this property. We are already planning a winter trip. A beautiful oasis right in the middle of cornfields!

Summary: We enjoyed a very peaceful time on the water. The house was well stocked with the essentials. The coffee pods were appreciated as we brought regular ground coffee.

Summary: The property was beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice! The house was clean and well stocked. Greg was very helpful with the pontoon and took us on a ride around the lake before giving us the keys. The screened in porch was perfect to relax in at night while keeping the bugs away. Would definitely recommend this place!

Summary: What a peaceful and fun filled experience. The cottage is great - roomy and comfortable with everything you could possibly want. Outdoors even better - lake is awesome! We rented the pontoon and spent a lot of time on the water. Went fishing and swimming and took the kayaks out every morning to a glass like lake. Lunch on the lake and evening sunset cruises after grilling out. Private lake - basically had the place to ourselves. You’ll never want to leave.

Summary: This wonderful cottage was so pretty and comfortable. The screened in porch was nice at night. My husband and I were there for a week, and we were the only ones on the lake almost every day. We loved watching the fish and the turtles at the end of the pier. The lake is small, so there is no skiing or fast boating, but if you want a peaceful, relaxing place, this is it!
