Summary: Annoyed about 6 cops showing up and saying we didnt book are stay hot tub wasnt on like the rental said

Summary: Upon arrival, two back entry doors were unlocked. Trash and dishwasher were full. Quickly found out that there are actually 3 sections to the house. 1. The upper part of the house which is locked off, including the upper deck. 2. The area that is not shown in any of the advertisement pictures that you will have access to and 3. The area which they advertise- this is accurate as shown just jankier (scuff walls, rust on wall heaters) in real life. The biggest issue is the unadvertised area. The carpet is old, outdated, and smells of dust. It's overwhelming and seeps into the rented area. It's gloomy and erie that I felt I needed to clear the area to ensure no one ease was in the house every time we came back. The only door the door code worked on the was main door, not the back door as instructed to use. The main entry is not inviting along with the musty and dust smell instantly. The exterior lighting is very dim and feels unsafe. Add that with the erie undisclosed area, and breathing in dust every breathe, I did not sleep well. Both beds appear to be old and hard , all three tvs are old and screen doesn't display the whole picture. No dead bolts for added security. One blind on main door just wasn't there. Missing cover plate under the dishwasher, bathroom baseboard had black marks in some sections. The hot tub and back deck were nice. But there is no upkeep around the house. I wish i could add pictures to accurately disclose what the Whole property looks like.

Summary: Loved location. Strange layout. Lots of steps. Listing said 2 bedrooms, 2 beds. Actually had 4 bedrooms, 5 beds. No air conditioning or ceiling fans in upper bedrooms. Should provide fans or portable air conditioning units. No lamps anywhere in the house. Hated having to use only ceiling lights. Hot tub did not function properly (temp) so initially we couldn't get it to go below 104, then could not get it above 94. Not great. The upper level bath was not clean, but rest of house was fine. Loved the deck and firepit.

Summary: Perfect view.... Lake access.... Cute Creek right next door... Absolutely love the Chipmunks and the beavers cruising by. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful. The stars at night or something to behold. Absolutely no problem checking in or leaving. Easy driving distance to C-Max. Definitely check out the concerts in canandaigua. We were able to hit two during our visit. It was wonderful having Santana just down the street 15 minutes.

Summary: When we first arrived all exterior doors were unlocked and the lights were on. There was also a random car parked in the driveway that we were not made aware of. We tried contacting anyone multiple times and all the was said was there would be a report made… zero helpful suggestions or contact from owners. It was also very dirty with dead bugs everywhere. The outside was not kept up with either. As a group of 5 girls we did call the police to do a walk through as it was a very strange/sketchy situation. The view was great and we made the best of it after the police left and we felt a little better. It was a good trip/stay but some changes need to be made, especially the communication factor. before booking… we were also unaware of what parts of the house we were able to gain access to because of the layout and lack of communication. NO access to the top deck at all, even though it is included in the pictures.
