Find rest, relaxation, and a truly serene setting at this waterfront home tucked among the pines on Balch Pond. With paddleboards, a kayak, and a private dock available for your use, you can spend your summer swimming, getting out on the water, and taking long, scenic walks with your loved ones.
Begin each morning with a cup of coffee on the lakefront deck that spans the length of the house, and follow the stairs down the bank for a morning paddle from the dock. Upon your return, you can rinse off in the outdoor shower, grab a change of clothes from the washer/dryer, and prepare Maine blueberry pancakes in the kitchen using stainless steel appliances. There's space to dine at the breakfast bar, at the dining room table, and outside on the deck overlooking the lake.
There are two living areas to choose from - one on the main level where you can stream movies in the warmth of the woodstove, and another on the lower level which doubles as a fifth sleeping space. Of the four bedrooms, the primary bedroom is on the main floor, offering an electric fireplace and a TV of its own.
A number of family-friendly amenities - a crib, a changing table, baby gates, a high chair, and kids' games - are provided as well.

*Air conditioners will be installed the first week of June. No air conditioning will be available until then.

Summary: The house location was amazing if you are looking for a getaway. The closest store was about a 10 minute drive and there are barely any neighbors to speak of. The lake is a short walk down the stairs with the promised kayak, SUPs, and a canoe with paddles and chairs for the dock or smaller blow up toys to stay closer in. The beds, pillows, blankets, and towels were plentiful and nice. Enough glasses and cutlery for a big group which was nice. Our group doesn't watch much tv, but there was a pretty big tv in each room with streaming services available. The sunset views from the deck were magical. The house is probably due for a good deep clean. True Vacasa fashion to have ONE dishtowel in the entire house, one VERY small bottle of dish soap, two very small bottles of shampoo and conditioner, and no coffee. Overall a great stay, but Vacasa should really start providing enough of the basics to keep a group covered in terms of dishtowels, soap, etc.

Summary: Nice house, well set up for families, plenty of kitchen utensils etc. The lake is great for swimming, and we also caught plenty of fish to keep everyone happy. The stand up paddle boards were a hit with the kids. Do know that the stairs are long and steep to the lake, which, if mobility challenged is difficult. But that is not a complaint, just confirming info.

Summary: The place was a DREAM! We absolutely loved the location, the lake was warm and inviting. The loons were a real treat. Hearing them every morning and every evening was enchanting. The home offers ALL the comforts and conveniences of ones own home. Everything was thoughtfully provided and accounted for. There was so much room to spread out. So much to enjoy. We cannot wait to return!!!

Summary: We had a wonderful time with our adult children. Since there are 3 levels, we each had our own floor and bathroom. The gates on the stairs and at the top of the deck are a great help with dogs and children if you bring them. There are two paddle boards and a sea kayak along with paddles and life preservers. The dock was big enough for six people. The lake is very clear and warm with lots of coves to explore.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay! The communication was simple and easy with the host, and the view was absolutely gorgeous. Fishing off the dock was killer, and the touches inside the home were amazing.
