Summary: It would be rude to say anything negative about this property. It's clear as day the owners have put much thought and time into this little home away from home. Very clean and organized. The owners were always available to answer our questions. This cottage is off the grid but does provide solar power and propane for hot showers etc. If you have not been off grid in awhile than its time for a recharge. Put that phone down, start a fire, read a book and use their provided record player!

Summary: Jannah and Lorenda were very helpful and responsive to all of our questions and messages. Their little pine cottage is a dream to stay in, and we highly recommend it for anyone who wants to get off the grid for a little bit, but doesn’t want to commit to full on camping! The little solar powered generator was cool and never ran out of power, but we also had really great weather. We were able to enjoy their really great record collection AND had plenty of energy for lights and charging our phones. I did bring an extra back up battery for my phone just to be safe, but didn’t really need it. It’s not far from the road, and it is very quiet. Lots of trails to hike on and explore. We figured out very quickly how to conserve water since the cabin uses a rainwater reservoir for the shower. It was super easy to use and they provided very clear instructions. We took advantage of the propane grill outside, but they also provide an indoor propane skillet that you could use if the weather wasn’t great. Our dog loved it most of all, such an amazing change of pace from the city with all the fresh outdoor smells. Just don’t forget to do a tick check anytime you run around outside. We can’t wait to come back! ❤️🌲🐾

Summary: We spent the weekend here after getting engaged and could not have enjoyed it more. It rained all day Saturday but it was very enjoyable to sit and read while listening to the rain on the roof. The space was very cozy and our dog enjoyed lounging by the fire all day. The hosts were very responsive and we would love to go back sometime.

Summary: The property was clean, quiet, and beautiful. We loved walking the trails in the morning, and soaking up the sun behind the cabin as the day progressed. It's a very private location, and being fully off-grid, I found a lot of inspiration in the water/electricity/toilet solutions implemented throughout the property. It's thoughtfully, effectively, and beautifully designed. I'd suggest bringing some 1lb propane tanks with you just in case you run out on the camp stove or propane water heater for the shower. I was traveling with all my usual camping gear, so I had backups for anything I needed. Would love to visit again, and dream of owning something similar one day!

Summary: Adorable little off-grid a-frame cabin with a loft. Well-maintained, and easily accessible, the cabin had foot-pump sinks, a comfy loft-bed (ladder is fairly steep), and a nice solar setup that's enough to charge phones and listen to some music. Lot's of solar power lights create a nice night-time aesthetic. It rained most of our trip so we didn't explore the footpaths or make a fire, but the paths were well marked and there was plenty of firewood set out. May try to rebook again in the fall for another getaway.

Summary: Not listed properly, cooking tools were rusted and not usable which made cooking difficult, there were not proper directions on the different rain water appliances

Summary: This cabin is fantastic, with a ton of amazing touches that go the extra mile. It is off grid so no mains electricity or wifi, but the solar lights/charging and water setup are enough to be quite comfortable. The space is very clean and delightful to spend time in, as is the firepit out back. We really enjoyed our stay!

Summary: We had an absolutely wonderful and rejuvenating few days at the cottage! The cottage is in a very quiet location, but just a short drive from Province Lake and ~30 minutes to Lake Winnipesaukee. The place is well equipped and beautifully decorated with many thoughtful touches. We enjoyed being off the grid and found the rainwater shower, compost toilet, and solar powered battery system for lights and charging to all be surprisingly easy and comfortable to use. Jannah and Lorenda were wonderful and communicative hosts and we hope to be back again. Thank you!
