Summary: Very nice secluded spot, we arrived late evening, could have used a little more lighting. The house needs some TLC, bedroom 2 door does not latch at all for privacy, ceiling in the kitchen needs finished, railing on the deck by the door need repaired, very wobley, a couple self closures for the screen door would go a long way. Everything was in working order. We had a great time at the local restaurants in the area. Beds were very comfy, but the B days were a hit...lol

Summary: We enjoyed staying at this property on Lake Weir. The house was large and comfortable, and the kitchen and supplies were better furnished than any VRBO we have ever rented. The sunsets were amazing! The house has some age, and is still being upgraded, but the major parts of the house were wonderful. Large, well furnished kitchen, upgraded vanities in the two bathrooms, comfortable beds with great linens. We stayed two weeks, and enjoyed the quiet, with occasional squawks from the waterfowl, and a few sounds of motorboats. The deck and porch are well supplied with places to sunbathe, or just sit and enjoy the view. I was a little put off by the fact we were asked to vacuum and take the trash to a recycle facility, which was closed on the day we left. After paying a cleaning fee, these things should be included.

Summary: Amazing view of the sunsets! Close to a great restaurant on the lake...the historic Lake Eaton's Beach Sandbar & Steamshack. Well equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfortable!!! Dining room chairs needs to be replaced (upholstery nails popping through/poking legs and bench cushion dirty). Foosball table was a hit!!! Blind mosquitos were bad (swarming) a few days of the week, but other days not bad at all. Lake is beautiful. Sandy bottom, clear water. Do beware of large alligator. Keep small children near you at all times near the water. Overall, great experience. Enjoy!

Summary: The property was very nice overall. But the checkout procedures were ridiculous. I paid a cleaning fee for cleaning the property. The owners require you to sweep and vacuum the property, strip the beds and put used towels and sheets in the washer, clean the grill, microwave, and oven; and clean out the refrigerator. Also take all trash to the recycle center. What is the cleaning fee for??!!
