Gorgeous 4BR & 3.5BA Lake House, right on Shangrila Lake! Relax and unload in this resort-style home. Enjoy grilling, bonfire, gaming, and a built-in sauna room. Boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking, table tennis are not the full list of things to do there.
Enjoy 2600 sqft of this recently renovated Waterfront home, right on a beautiful Lake. The oversized living room with a high 17 FT ceiling has an abundance of natural light coming from the double doors and windows. Up here is all about outdoor living; we have the pleasure to offer you a private two-story deck terrace where you can enjoy the dazzling view of Shangri La Lake from the front row seat. Open your living room doors and combine the indoor and outdoor spaces. There’s nothing better than feeling like you’re on top of the world. Located in a quiet and safe area minutes away from the Illinois chain o lakes which are filled with boating, kayaking, jet-skiing, delicious restaurants, bars, and more!
Main Level:
The first floor has a comfy living room area with a wide flat-screen TV, A modern dining room area, and a kitchen full of utensils, dinnerwear, and stainless steel appliances. The main level also has access to the glorious lakefront view with a double-door balcony entryway and powder room.
Second Level:
Ascend upstairs to 3 bedrooms and never-ending closet space. Master bath equipped with Jacuzzi tub and free-standing shower. The second bath has a tub and shower combo. The Master bedroom has a king-size bed and a fully stocked bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and access to the hallway bathroom. The third bedroom has two single beds with access to the hallway bathroom.
Bottom level:
Enter a fun-filled lower level with a secondary family room, a 4th bedroom with a queen-sized bed, ping pong table, brand new 5 people sauna, fridge, flatscreen TV, and a full bathroom with a shower.
Outdoor activities/amenities:
It can't be a lakehouse without outdoor fun!

We love animals! Please let us know if your well-trained pet is being brought. Extra cleaning fee of $100 for each dog or cat.

Summary: The home was large and roomy. Two refrigerators provide adequate storage for a dozen people, their food and beverages! The bedrooms were very comfortable. However sleeping accommodations for those without a bedroom (on the futons) was somewhat uncomfortable for the adults. I wouldn’t advertise that this rental can sleep 12 adults. The pontoon was much appreciated. We enjoyed taking that out onto the lakes several times a day. We also used the paddle board and kayak. Unfortunately the lake near the home was too dirty to swim in. Thank you very much to an enjoyable weekend.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. We used the kayak and paddle board and enjoyed the water. We used the pontoon and enjoyed that. There was nice living space and bedrooms. We even had a family ping pong tournament. The neighbors also had great fireworks for the 4th, which was a bonus.

Summary: Our family (5 adults and 3 kids) enjoyed a wonderful visit in this beautiful house. Plenty of room for the kids to play and the adults to talk and laugh and still feel all together. We even had a ping-pong tournament! As a bonus, we took the pontoon boat out on the two adjoining lakes.

Summary: Had a group of 5 stay for 3 nights. Property was clean and communication with the owner was absolutely great! Perfect spot right on the lake and being able to rent a boat through the owner was perfect. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Summary: Our family enjoyed a few nights at Lake Shangrila. There was a ton of space and we could have easily fit another family. The kids enjoyed time on the water, ping pong and the sauna. It would be nice if there was more than one kayak, one paddle board and two life jackets (one child and one adult). However, we did enjoy our stay and would recommend Lake Shangrila.

Summary: We had a spectacular stay at this lake house. So enjoyable looking over the lake and trees with coffee in the morning, many things to do on the lake during the day and early evening….with kayaking, tubing and out on the pontoon boat. A nice secluded area for peace and privacy, a great backyard with fire pit. Alex was a terrific host! He was very responsive in all communication before and during the trip. Will definitely return!

Summary: Seven adults and a baby spent the week here and had a wonderful time! The house was clean, plenty of space, with comfortable beds and furnishings. Alex was a very helpful property manager. We rented the pontoon and cruised the lakes and swam-it was great. The ping pong table, second fridge downstairs, and sauna were nice bonuses.
