Summary: Terrific place to enjoy a peaceful lake. Very well-equipped home with plenty of room inside and out. We were pleased with the accommodations, comfortable beds, lounging porch, outside space for games, and dock for lake activities.Would highly recommend!

Summary: We recently stayed at this well-maintained lake house and had a pleasant experience. The house is very clean and outfitted with everything you may need. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, providing a peaceful retreat. The location offers easy access to the lake, which was a major plus for us. The furnishings were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Overall, it was a nice stay, and we appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided.

Summary: 12 yr old and 14 yrs old boys loved basketball goal and the huge yard. We all enjoyed screen in porch with fireplace and TV each night. Owners have covered every detail down to labels on light switches.

Summary: BEAUTIFUL home, inside and out. Dock available for boat use, kayak and island provided by owners. Extremely clean inside. Comfortable beds, shampoo, soap, detergent, and other small starters provided. Took our family of 4- plenty of space to spend time together AND have space on your own. Enjoyed the screened in porch for dinners. Used the clean grill. Never used bocce court due to heat and wanting to spend our days on our boat, but well lit and balls provided. Played basketball and brought some of our own outdoor games we enjoy, like Bottle Bash- which was fun to play in such a large manicured grassy yard. Easy parking, easy to find. Well lit dock for nighttime swimming and fishing with the neighbors. Literally everything is provided- Lake towels, wagon to bring coolers or larger items to the dock, Adirondack chairs, fire pit, board games, scented candles, blankets on the couches, washer/dryer, plenty of cutlery and plates, even a crock pot if needed! We ate at Southern Hart Brewery and 329- both good. Convenient Exxon gas station you can see from the dock filled with beer, wine, and good variety of small groceries. Quaint small town to visit. Even needed a virtual doctor visit while on our trip and the local CVS was easy to pick up a prescription on vacation. Highly recommend. Lightning fast correspondence with the owner for any small question I had along the way. Loved the full house indoor/outdoor sound system and the large master shower. I’d stay again.

Summary: This property is amazing and has everything we look for in a rental - beautifully decorated, relaxing atmosphere, very comfortable, and well-stocked. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, surroundings very quiet, yet close to grocery stores and restaurants. We were in Hartwell on Labor Day Weekend to attend a memorial service. It rained most of the time so we did not use the lake. Check-in was simple. The owner was available by phone and very responsive. Six adults stayed - no children, although we did have two visit for a few hours. The rain didn’t matter thanks to the two porches, one covered and the other screened. Porch and outdoor furniture were very comfortable. The covered porch is a great place for morning coffee and the screened porch is fabulous for dining! It was a great place to catch up with family we don’t often see! On our last night we grilled steaks on the gas grill. When it wasn’t raining we really enjoyed the “walking garden” and its’ beautiful flowers and greenery. The yard is huge and perfectly manicured. Sitting outside in the front there is a beautiful view of the lake. Beds were comfortable. The house was spotless. We usually travel to Hartwell every few years and would love to stay at this property again.
