This Florida vacation home located on a beautiful lake in North Florida is just what you are looking for! Enjoy a relaxing and peaceful vacation away from it all. This 2800 square foot home is located on Cherry Lake, Madison County, Florida. Beautifully decorated with southern charm.
Enjoy the crystal clear waters of this spring-fed lake nestled in a very rural setting just two hours from Jacksonville. Cherry Lake is ideal for swimming, skiing, tubing, jet skis, and fishing. Large mouth bass and fresh water trout are plentiful in Cherry Lake.
The lake is ideal for water sports as well. It is approximately a mile in diameter, almost a perfect circle in shape with a total of about 500 acres. This home has its own private dock. There are two bedrooms with a king-size bed in each. The third bedroom has two queen beds and the fourth bedroom has two double beds. There is an additional room with two twins and a small room with one twin. In the evening enjoy a marshmallow roast or a campfire sing-along in the outdoor campfire area.
If theme park fun is what you are looking for, Wild Adventures is just 20 minutes away. This has got to be North Florida and South Georgia's best-kept secret. No long lines and something to do for the entire family, at a great value. With a variety of roller-coasters, shows and wildlife.

Summary: Pictures do not do this place justice. We enjoyed a relaxing week. Quality time with family. Home is well equipped for lots of family and friends. Very kid and pet friendly. Kitchen ware, pot, pans, etc well stocked. The grill is clean and cooks evenly. The wrap around porch kept the grandchildren fully entertained. The lake is crystal clear. Nice little beach and playground around the lake. Owner is very responsive.

Summary: 14 years ago, we stayed at the rental property next door and said one day, we would like to stay at Southern Charm. As a special Christmas gift, I rented the house for the family and we had a great time. We took the grandchildren to Wild Adventures to see the Nights of Lights, but I believe they had a better time playing at the house. There was plenty of towels, linens, and kitchen accessories. Only concern is no childproof locks on the exit doors of the house. Our 4 year old loved the dock. The hurricane did some damage. The playground set is gone and some of the trees are down, but overall, this is a very nice place to stay. We enjoyed the wrap around porch, fun to chase the kids around on. Thank You for allowing My Family to enjoy Your Home!

Summary: Many years staying here. Always fun. Lots of room. Lake and boating were great as always. Only a few boats were out all week so made great skiing for the kids. Very well furnished kitchen. Had everything you need. Great for family to come together.
