Summary: Had a lovely stay last weekend. The cabin was equipped with all the necessary amenities for the rooms, kitchen, some board games and with a backyard into the woods which was super gorgeous.Beverly was an amazing host, quick to respond and quick to help and super nice to talk to.Thank you so much.

Summary: The house is close to the snow line meaning there was some snow but not so much that driving/parking/walking was precarious. There's a nice open kitchen/family room so we all played games together instead of the kids (18/19 teens) hanging out separately. And the pup appreciated not only the bear valley snow but walking the Arnold Rim Trail close to home. It's an easy drive to bear valley -- we skied each day.

Summary: Great place for a family to stay. It's a good base camp for activities up the mountain as well as closer to Arnold. Only complaint is there isn't any dishwasher!

Summary: Our family stayed 3 nights and it was such a great place to stay. We came with our dog and 2 kids, ages 5 & 8. The kitchen had everything we needed, there were plenty of blankets, the fireplace was cozy, and the yard was perfect for the kids to explore. We loved the location! It was a quick drive up the mountain to take the kids sledding and we visited the big trees state park nearby. Highly recommend!

Summary: We booked the cabin for a quick getaway weekend for our family of 3 plus dog (lab). The house was immaculate, well stocked, and had updated appliances. Bonus for gas stove…woo woo. Just the right size for our crew and great location for easy out the door things (swimming, paddling and hiking the Rim Trail.) Close by car to lots of wonderful things. Communication with the host Beverley was excellent! We appreciated the flexible checkin and out. Really nice. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: Lovely cabin in the woods. Extremely clean, has everything you need. Close to restaurants and a couple of grocery stores. Hiking trails walking distance from the cabin, a private lake for owners and guests. Best part of Arnold for me is the Calaveras Big Trees State Park. I go all the time, but it was so nice being so close. I'd absolutely stay here again and bring my family next time. Hostess, Beverley, is a wonderful and compassionate person. Very kind hearted. Ill never forget my week long trip. guests
