The house was built this way in order to enjoy the view of the lake and also the incredible sunsets. The house has a huge wrap around deck on the second floor. The home also has a covered pavilion for hanging out, having a glass of wine, cocktail or beer, and for grilling. There is plenty of seating under the pavilion which also has 2 hanging lounge chairs. The dock is a great place for fishing or just hanging out to catch some sunshine. Duck hunting is a huge season on the Lake. Boat Rentals and Jet Ski rentals are available at the local Marina. Summary: We had a wonderful 2 week stay at Wendy's adorable home. Just what we needed to get away from our hectic life. Daily walks on the quiet paved road, kayaking on the lake, grilling under the pavilion, reading and napping on the awesome 2nd level porch was amazing. The Salt Lick store is a must go to for meats and anything you'd need. We invited Wendy and her boyfriend a couple nights for cocktails, and they are the most wonderful, generous people to visit with. It was nice learning about the area and Gaters in the lake that won't bother you :) I already miss waking up to the birds chirping, fish jumping in the lake, and coffee on the deck. Thank you for a great stay!

Summary: Property is gorgeous, but it would be difficult to squeeze in 8 adults if those adults aren't sharing beds.

Summary: We had another amazing stay at this property! Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. This time we spent more time indoors due to the cold weather so we really appreciated the full kitchen and wood burning fireplace. Our grandkids loved coming over to explore the lake or lounge on the hammock and swings. Thank you for helping to make our trip so memorable!!

Summary: House was really clean and the layout was really cool. 3 bedrooms down stairs and a huge living room, kitchen and dining area upstairs. Also upstairs there is a really big deck that partially wraps around the house and part of it is covered and another part is screened. We didn’t really stay at the house except to sleep since we were at the racetrack all weekend. All of us agree that we should try to come back in the warmer months so we can enjoy the house and the lake. The property owner was also very nice and checked in with me after our first night to make sure we didn’t need anything and told us to reach out whenever if something came up. Next time we are down this will our top choice for a place to stay.

Summary: We had a lovely time gathering for a girls trip. The host was readily available and even called to make sure everything was good. I really don’t think the listing does the place justice. It is a great space with plenty of room for gathering.

Summary: Even though the fish were not biting because the lake had risen because of storms before we got there we enjoyed the house, fellowship, and the mexican resturant close by (twice).The owner was very helpful and attentive.
