Sweeping views of Vineyard Sound and Martha's Vineyard from this grand 1914 estate with all the modern conveniences (new central air, internet access, wifi, updated electric, updated bathrooms, new windows and new doors). This exquisite home was built in 1914 by W.A. Tobey for the Hill family from Memphis, Tennessee. The Argento family purchased the home in 1940, naming it the Nicolina Argento House. It became a haven for art enthusiasts during the many art exhibits held at the home. The property's rich history and timeless beauty is truly unique.
Spread out in this 4,300+ sq/ft, 7 bedroom, 3.5 bath home which overlooks Falmouth Heights beach, the ballpark, restaurants and is a short stroll to the ferry to the Vineyard. First floor boasts of an open floor plan with living room, dining room, family room with pool/ping pong table, efficient kitchen, queen bedroom with full bath and sun porch. There are 4 couches on this level with plenty of space for entertaining. The 2nd floor has 6 generous bedrooms and 2 full baths (shower stalls-no bath tub) with updated and tasteful decor. There is central a/c throughout the home as well as wireless internet access and 8 LED flat screen tv's for comfort and convenience.

Summary: The house was impeccable. We used this as a gathering for our high school girls trip ( class of 83). There were nine of us and it was a perfect size. Easy walking distance to bars and restaurants as well as the ferry. The view of the water is beautiful from the house. I highly recommend this house if you are visiting the Falmouth area.

Summary: We had 14 people and felt the house was spacious and all agreed even better than the pictures! The main living space is very open and room for multiple activities in different areas (outside table/inside table/living room 1/ living room2). The beach access across the street was awesome for our group to come and go, great for some of us who had babies and could easily come back and rejoin the group after nap time. Thanks for a great stay we hope to come back again!

Summary: This couldn’t have been a better location. We were able to watch the ocean and kids outside play with the lawn games at the home while sitting on the patio furniture. It was less than a block from the beach. They provided beach chairs and toys. The house easily fit our two families. We hope to return :)

Summary: This was hands down the best VRBO experience I have ever had!! I cannot say enough positive things about our stay. Joe and Maura were so lovely and answered all of my questions ahead of time, providing recommendations for things our group could do during our stay. My fiancé and I were celebrating a joint bachelor/bachelorette with our bridal party and this house was perfect for a large group to spread out and enjoy different activities. The house is spacious, clean, and Joe and Maura are excellent hosts. We are already thinking about planning another trip and hope to stay here again! 10/10 recommend!!

Summary: We had an incredible stay here. Space is perfect for large groups. We had plans to do a bunch of things in town - but the house was so awesome we spent most of the time at the house or the beach across the street.

Summary: Our family had a wonderful stay. The views overlooking the water are incredible! The home is beautiful and in the perfect location. Short walk to the Island Queen ferry, bike shop, restaurants. Short drive to golf, shopping. Kids played across street at beach and in the ball fields right next door. Maura, the homeowner, made us feel welcome and right at home. A+

Summary: Our family came to town for our daughters wedding. It was a perfect weekend but the icing on the cake was this house. They were all so comfortable here. They didn’t want to leave! Maura and Joe were wonderful hosts! I highly recommend this house!
